Yes, having a good attitude about weather will help you enjoy your time there! 🙂 Tell yourselves, it my be sunny or rainy, warm or cold, but, dang it, we will dress for the weather as best we can and enjoy! We went to see Jokulsarlon on a rainy day.... and then the sun came out. WOW. ❤️ 🌧️🌤️🌈

Just came across your channel and am cramming as much as I can ahead of a trip booked for end August. So far, these are enjoyable and informative. First time to comment and love the dry humor as you leave what I expect was the Actic Henge. I’m a little sad to find that Arctic Henge is new and not original stone work but oh well, we can imagine that there were structures many hundreds of years ago.

I’ve been traveling all my life and there’s quite no country that I continuously daydream to visit again as Iceland. So many emotions, so many wonderful places.
I guess living in the desert does make you love Iceland even more.
    The only downside.. crazy expensive

We were in Iceland in Jan and now we are going back at the end of August. This country is so beautiful. Cancel our other trip at the last min to come to Iceland. We will complete the ring road that we did not do in the Winter. Thank you Jeannie for the Ring Road Guide book. Love your videos.

We were just in Husavik on July 28th and maaaaaaan….. did I love it there!!!!!! So beautiful and the food was amazing! Totally impressed with it! Then headed to Akureyri and Siglufjodur and I was just left speechless!

Jeannie your Henge hike reminded me so much of a hike to Mary’s Peak in Oregon’s coast range. At 4000 ft there is essentially nothing between the top and Japan but ocean and wind…we too took “shelter” behind a small building. Then we amused ourselves by jumping straight up and measuring how far the wind pushed us. Of course all while being pelted by rain😁.
I would love to hear more about the henge itself-why & when was it constructed? When you are warm and dry inside, of course 😂

gf and I will be headed up there to that same area in Sept and staying 3 days in Husavik as our base while visiting other locations there. Very much loving this video. We also followed your recommendation on Blue rental (got all the insurances but doors not included, lol). Thanks for all your videos

Opportunity lost. You had a chance to inform your viewers of the symbolism, history and construction associated with the Arctic Henge and you didn't bother. Too bad.
