Let's face it, parenting is one of the most difficult tasks in life; if not the most difficult already. Yet it is a wonderful experience at the same time. We all need help to deal with the problems facing our children especially during their teenage years. To any parent reading this, cheers for coming this far. Keep loving your children no matter what because at the end of the day we all need to be loved. God Bless you all. 😇🥰🙏

Like I told my own daughter; “you have the right, to choose your friends! They don’t have to choose you!”

I was a divorced, single mom. I had to raised my 3 children single married woman. I had to raise them by myself without the support of their father. It was the Lord who helped me to apply tough love that’s how I raised them. Today, they’re quite successful. They’ve never been in trouble with the law, no baby mama drama, drugs alcohol cigarettes. They’re ALL college graduates n in their perspective careers.

The kid probably didn't understand most of what the mother wants for her and what Steve said, but there will come a singular, random point in her life where it'll click, because it's subconsciously in the back of her mind and she'll be fine. Kids might not listen initially or even deflect heavily, but don't let that stop you from speaking up. We all were brats one point in time and it's one of the greatest resources we can draw from. We know all the tricks because god damn we did the same things.

First guests: It all boils down to her self belief and what she’s experiencing in life. If her beliefs are inferior in nature (insecure, not good enough, not acceptable etc) chances are good she’s a people pleaser, always giving, self sacrificing because she wants/needs to be accepted, liked or whatever she’s subconsciously needing and searching for. This is the vibe she naturally gives off. She will attract and be attracted to people who need someone like her. Bullies, manipulators, controlling people need people they can overpower. They end up fulfilling each other’s subconscious needs. That’s why she’s going to overlook the negative behavior. Telling her to stop isn’t addressing her real issue.
Second segment: Um…no. Just no. This was cringeworthy. Tough love isn’t a one size fits all.
Tough love directed to a child who has inferior self beliefs can further compound their belief system. This becomes embedded subconsciously and can affect them in just about every area of their life. Example: If you don’t realize your child subconsciously believes they’re a failure, and you’re going around brutally telling them they are, you’re not doing them any good at all.
Tough love coming from an unbalanced, insecure, or undisciplined type parent is a recipe for disaster in that child’s life. Period.

Just because you're honest with them, doesn't mean it has to be brutal... I'm not saying you're wrong, but lying to your children to pacify their feelings can be just as damaging. I've always been big on my child never lying to me. Regardless of what it is. In return, I give the same courtesy. If you can break someone down, you can also build them back up. If you tell them they're not good at something, tell them what they are good at also. I do this with my employees as well. Just as I have to pull them into the office and let them know when they've done something wrong, I also take the time to recognize when they're doing a good job. It's about balance.

ITS the negative energy radiating off that couch in the second half for me...... the world is likely going to be taring your children down, the least you could do is build them up high in the home so they have a chance at being able to remain standing tall once released into the "wild"

Steve Harvey, you're HOT! Don't buy into that industry standard garbage about looks. You're tall, brown, and handsome, in great shape, with mesmerizing dimples and a beautiful smile (don't care if your teeth are veneers, they look fabulous). And you're funny! What! You better tell your son to go down to that modeling agency! He could be just what they are looking for! Djimon Hounsou didn't fit the "standard" either, but he's all over that catwalk modeling. You see, your opinion is just that...an opinion, not necessarily a fact. This is why you should ALWAYS support whatever your kids want to do. And, you're the best dressed man in the business, Steve! BTW, Rachel Lindsay is not the one to ask about kids because she has no experience to speak from.

Putting your kids in a good school is a start if you can afford it. otherwise get your kids busy with sport or anything they love to do, so that they don't have time, sitting around doing nothing. 15 - 19 years are the most important years of your life because by this age, you should have an idea of what you good at and what you would like to do in life. it takes 10 years to be really good at your craft, so by the time you hit 30, you should be financialy stable and hopefully meet someone to settle down. Otherwise if you want to be CEO at something and be successful it will take 20 years.

Often the only difference between you and the person you admire is effort. Not always but often. Of course you'll have some people who are naturally gifted so it came easy. If you want to succeed like them at something? Up the effort level because often these A listers achieved their goal with hard work and determination alone.

Did you know? "As a Christian, Soul Winning Is our responsibility. We should try to win our immediate family, relatives, (John 1:40-42)friends, neighbors (John 4:28-29, and other people (Mark 16:15). As Christians,we must know that not Trying to Win a Soul for Jesus Christ, God Will Require us to Answer to Him if that Person Dies without Being Saved (Eze 3:18-19; Acts 20:26-27; Pro 24:11-12) Friends, start now so that we do not have to meet Jesus empty-handed without SAVED souls.
