The whistles and boos at the Greek national anthem in this case did not come from disrespect. We, as Romanians, are a very passionate people, Latin, very competitive when it comes to competitions and especially football. If it had been the anthem of the Netherlands, Russia or any opponent, we would probably have reacted the same way. It's just sports, it's not a lack of fair play! We really love Greece, I think the whole of Europe loves it, only it was an important match for us and the adrenaline made us unable to control ourselves! Romanians are not disrespectful.
