I use LEN as a formula to dynamically apply conditional formatting to cells that may or may not have data in them. When there is data the LEN formula conditionally formats the cells to have a border.
@JodoKast1221 but you do conditional formatting for a range defined from cell to cell. I'm looking for a way to make the range for which you define conditional formatting dynamic.
I apply the conditional formatting to essentially the entire workbook so no matter where data appears (dynamically) the conditional formatting kicks in.
Nice video as always Mark!
Crystal clear and well explained, thanks Mark 👍👍
Excellent treatment of the case, as always. Thank you, Mark.
Always looking forward to watching something new from your channel
Thanks Mark! I admit, I always struggle with the formulas to get them right. From now on, this hopefully will be no more problem ;-)
you just gave me an idea for making formats for an income statement!
Hi Mark, thank you for this video.
When will we watch a video of Power Query?
See you.
Hi, I wonder when conditional formatting (if ever) will become dynamic like array formulas...

@@JodoKast1221 I thought about that. But doesn't that increase the file size?
This is a pro tips? 😂😂
