@Keelan yeah was wondering how they got 1ms on a VA panel, checked back on MSI's website and found it says 1ms (MPRT). I guess MPRT is not the same as gray to gray response times, I bet its just another marketing scheme to make their specs look better than it really is. Also found an Asus IPS panel (MG279q) with 1 ms (MPRT) which kinda confirms my suspicion as it is impossible to have 1ms RT on IPS panels ATM
@Keelan did u notice ghosting when play csgo too? And have u turn on mprt and fastest response time? I hear va panel need adjust gamma settings to lower ghosting issue.. Idk if its true but u can try it or check on google

It has a 1ms MPRT, which is different to actual response time. Actual g2g response time of this panel is probably more like 4-8ms. Moreover, response time is only a measure of one perfect example of how fast an LCD panel can switch. The real life experience can vary greatly between different LCD types that claim a 1ms response time, and VA panels are by far the worst.
HDR is option for monitors with at least 400 nitts, this one has 300, so it's normal that it doesn't support HDR. Beside, it's great monitor for its price.
Because the 1ms response time only refers to when the backlight strobing is on - it's a cheat figure basically. The native response time of the panel is much slower.

If it's on sale, definitely! Just picked the 24" version of this one up today, and i really recommend it. Huge upgrade from what i previously rocked.
@@tommyhvalberg What did you used to have?
@@Draxxuzownzu I used to have a 9 year old Dell TN monitor with 60 hz. Boy, is there a difference. I'm using the old monitor as a second display now, so win-win.
Whats the defrence on a non r, and with a r??. Appreciate if you answer(:
This is very good gaming monitor. There is no ghosting with fast setting and input lag is very low.
Yo, i bought this monitor and i have a problem with it. Sometimes when I am playing games the refresh rate changes from 90-144 automatically even if i set it to 144hz. And because of this my monitor shows white images. I dont know how to explain that but it shows a white picture and then turns back and then white again, all this happening in some ms. When i set the hz to 60 its feels so bad like im having 30 fps instead. Is it because of the GPU? I have Rx 590. Can u help me?
I cant seem to get 144hz on it i dont get witch port i shud use and so on if anyone can help?
HDMI is getting 120 max? Try the DP.
One more thing to add. The low fake response time of 1ms can't be used with Freesync.
Idc I guess
He said that in the video
Response time for this monitor is 1ms, I dont understand why you said it has low response time. just looked up MSI's website.
@Keelan so the freesync range is 60-100hz? Wtf thats so suck lol. I hear mag24c got 40-144hz. Why Mag241c got horrible range? I think there's are something wrong with ur monitor.. Contact me back if msi sent u new replacement.
Keelan are u talkin bout fps games here? I mean do u get that same ghosting on games like GTA V or Ac origins etc? Can u pls help me out
@@manssupar (11 months later, idc;) The range is 48-144 Hz.
How bad is pixel density with 27in 1080p monitors?
Yeah a 27" 1080p seems like it offers a less adequate pixel density than a 24". I mean it definitely does, but I can't comment on it from experience. I recommend checking out this review though about the 24" version of this monitor:

the ghosting is the deal breaker for me, back to TN panel I guess.
yeah i got this monitor, ghosting is so fucking annoying in fast paced games

Can you please post a video of playing farcry 5 and shadow of the tomb raider on this monitor .I wish to buy this monitor. One more doubt .Despite the fact that it doesn't have hdr, can I get better colors when I play hdr content in this monitor? Anyway nice video .👍☺️
If your wondering this monitor is a marvellous I just got mine today and the difference is drastic! It’s really good and if your into games like COD It’s totally Worth the pick up overall this monitor is amazing it is really good for gaming it’s better than a normal straight monitor The curved part makes this monitor 1 million times better I would totally suggest getting this monitor. It’s fairly cheap and affordable and I would totally suggest picking one of these up I’ve had this monitor for a day now and I’m thinking about getting a second 😂
Could I use this as a monitor to work or is unique to games??

I have an MSi Mag271cr gaming monitor
I am connecting it with DP

The colors is not accurate and sharpness and resolution is very bad
I have to turn supersampling 1.5x the base one to start see good results ingame.
My GPU is RTX2070
16 GB ram
Any help guys
Not sure about the colours but it is only a 1080p resolution on a 27in screen, so it doesn't look very sharp.
What you mean at 2:14? It says 1ms responstime?
It has a 1ms MPRT, which is different to actual response time. Actual g2g response time of this panel is probably more like 4-8ms. Moreover, response time is only a measure of one perfect example of how fast an LCD panel can switch. The real life experience can vary greatly between different LCD types that claim a 1ms response time, and VA panels are by far the worst.
When was The release of this monitor?
you can see it on amazon
Whenever i plug in my headset, the sound is just fine, but my mic sounds like im undrwater wtf pls help løl
try being on land and not underwater i think that will help

Does this one work with a PS4 tho?
Yes it does only at 60fps tho but I liking it so far on pc and ps4
HDR is option for monitors with at least 400 nitts, this one has 300, so it's normal that it doesn't support HDR. Beside, it's great monitor for its price.

Is this monitor good for fortnite
So even if the monitor is a 27 inch 144 hz 1 ms responds time you still think it’s bad?!
Because the 1ms response time only refers to when the backlight strobing is on - it's a cheat figure basically. The native response time of the panel is much slower.
