The man was a pure genius who was scrutinised and scapegoated constantly during his time with AFC. It genuinely saddens me, the toxic way in which our fanbase has treated him. He provided so much and was a joy to watch. Will always be grateful to you Mesut, thank you!

Ozil's crosses are more precise and also: Ozil's not going to shoot on goal when the ball rebounds from a free/cornerkick. Pepe can and will do that. Beautiful command over the ball, unbelievable vision, wonderful passing accuracy both on and off the ground, amazing positioning, great finishing skills and definitely the beautiful close control dribbling ability.. Had he and Ronaldo stayed in Real Madrid, it would've been something so powerful that a streak of UCL, La Liga and etc could've been inevitable, cause all the other greats are still in Real Madrid.. Ronaldo and Ozil as a pair was so brilliant that some of the strongest defences lost confidence.. Ozil can see what probably no one else does.. And his execution of his plans and intentions in the game is quiet astonishing.. One of the all time greatest midfielder in the history for reasons..

He should've taken all corners and far/crossing freekicks like he used to. I still wonder why they let Pepe take all of those. Ozil's crosses are more precise and also: Ozil's not going to shoot on goal when the ball rebounds from a free/cornerkick. Pepe can and will do that. His assist rate also went down because he didn't take those anymore...
