I'm looking to explore different styles. It's encouraging to know that a sew in style can 'easily' last 4 months... but is the weaving net necessary? I want to be able to wash my scalp.
I think it looks good I want to get my hair done this month at a salon but I'm scared it's going to look like a wig and not sew in extensions and have a knot on the back like this video,it's not as noticable as most knots I've seen but , I've seen worser knots from the real hair under neat being so thick that the corn row makes the back of the head looks so bulky.
Please i'm just curious. Whats the purpose of the weaving net? Does it make the sew in last longer compared to sewing directly to the hair. I'll be glad if you could explain. Thank you ❤.

nope! cutting the weave is a no no. sheds way too much hair and if its some expensive hair that is a total waste. what if you wanted to re install? it would be really difficult to determine where each piece was placed previously. still looks good but I'm against cutting the weft of the track.
