I take privates from Joel. The best crucifix in the world still 5 years later. He gets the position and he doesn’t lose it. His crucifix ‘maintainence’ is key.
My problem with this position is that It feels like you could grab his left arm and roll him over you before he get the chance to place that knee in between your elbow and knee. I must be missing something.
Mike Michaels Stay low and keep your chest connected to his shoulders. Don't rush the sub. Consolidate first. I'm 160-170 and my gym has all giants from 210-350lbs and I've done this on them all
I'm not sure how to explain it but if he rolls make sure you have his opposite hand controlled (two on 1 or kimura grip) and scoot your hips away to give you space between you and him (immediately after he rolls you or during the roll). Once he rolls you he's gonna try and turn and face you but the space you created gives you more than enough room to bring your knee in to start attacking the back. If he's fast then you have to be fast.
Thanks Bernardo for always giving the last touch of details makes a big difference love the Crucifix.

Bernardo's videos (with these highlighted experts) are making me look really good lately.
Really good details, especially the angle for getting the knee in between!
My favourite position. Some new details for me. Thanks for posting.
I can sense the excitement in the one guys voice to have joe there. Thank you very much.
I have personally felt that crucifix!!!!
You and Jesus.

Great job guys. Thank you for posting!
Bro so awesome thank you
Thank you!!🙏👊
Have you seen the Capizzi lock variations to the crucifix? Think it would really complement your crucifix game.
I am eager to drill this ! Definitely the go to turtle attack from now on. Thank you! 🤙
Hola Bernardo! I was wondering if it's possible to do a BICEP SLICER on the opponent if he connects his hands?

You would be giving up the crucifix if you did that. He would just roll with you and catch your arms on the way over.
The technique you are referring to is totally possible but extremely common and very difficult to pull off on someone high level.
Plus what he said! ^^^^
sick, gonna try this..
Where is the finish?
Thank you 🙏 9/24
Eu conheço o sotaque Brasileiro!!
The best
Wow!!!!!
Is no one concerned he might get rolled? He is really deep and not weighted enough on his far leg.
How do you prevent getting fat guy rolled (the bottom guy hooking your elbow and rolling) when setting this up?
