3 of my coworkers (butcher) have had shoulder surgery on the R-cup. They have come back stronger and said the procedure wasn't too bad. So if you have to go that route have that peace of mind. We'll keep you in our prayers Doug.
Almost 50k subs almost enough to fill a stadium. Congratulations
I had surgery on my shoulder. Fractured my humorous and it was bad. Don’t get surgery with just anyone. I went to Memorial Hospital in Hollywood, Florida. The chief of orthopedic surgery, Dr. Chan, is world class and I highly recommend him. Changed my life.
If they brought in Tannehill it would be a Circus with the Media and Fanbase. I don't want to hear the noise. He is no doubt a better backup then what we currently have. So I see the point but only if he wasn't here before already.
I would deal with the circus to win a superbowl. The circus is outside the actual game, and winning games is what is important. He could be the Earl Morell for us.
I don't think it would really be that bad. Tannehill never had character issues, or was a problem with the media. I'd much rather have him than Mike White if the price was similar, because Tannehill was a solid starter, while White is a pretty inconsistent backup.
That said, I wouldn't want to bring in a backup QB if it's going to cost something crazy like 10 mil lol
My uncle tore his rotator cuff a couple decades ago. I remember him complaining about some pretty severe discomfort during a Thanksgiving gathering, and a couple months later he had an operation and was in physical therapy. He ended up not keeping up on the PT as long as he should have, and it ultimately only healed about 90%. So make sure to stick to whatever routine they give you Doug!
I had a sciatic neeve issue around years ago, followed the PT routine to the letter for 6 months, and to this day my back is perfectly fine. Even if some of the stuff they have you do seems silly (or is tough), it's probably important.
Dam I'm hearing you in my town on 560 QAM, which I listen to that sports station everyday here in Broward and Miami , congratulations brother keep up the good work 👏 🎉
Skipping the first 5 minutes and ignoring the indigestion, burping, hiccups or whatever is going on with this dude and we finally get some information. Thanks for Getting to it
Justin Simmons
Love the promoting of mental health Doug. Awesome stuff my guy
Good Morning Doug- im an old man and have rotator cuff issues, I had like you a major dislocation when I went to jump school many yrs again- I’ve been non pain now for a good while the Doctor recommended surgery but I have 2 friends that had rotator surgery- im told do not have it
I’m just praying for Greg Van Roten, and the possibility of Justin Simmons was cool. But Doug throws the Jonathon Allen trade at me and now I’m excited
For future reference post June 1st just means start of new league year. So all teams have access to the money today. May 31st is considered the last day of the previous year. So post June 1st really just means June 1st and beyond
I injured my shoulder a few years ago. It was either a torn labrum or torn rotator cuff (didn't get it looked at). Anywho, it healed on its own after about 3 years. But it WAS a long, arduous recovery
Doug., How about an episode on the players WE released ? Really like your 'stuff'. Cheers,
Great stuff as always, brother.
Only the top 51 contracts impact the cap. Rookie class impact is 7M cash but only a 2M increase to cap. Signing the rookie class is very little impact to our current cap
Agreed, Doug. I would like to see Fins add Van Roten also 🤔
Enjoyed the video happy to see your doing ok I have the same problem with my nee
It’s the Rotator Cuff!!!
I hope you feel better Doug and send my condolences to you. The shoulder is no joke.
My worry is that if the D-line needs help that might be the reason the O-line doesn't look to bad.
You are awesome Doug
Good morning Doug and phins up! I’ve been in the Radiology field for 13 years!! Rotator cuff injuries are really tough. Just some of my personal experience from dealing with them myself from football and racing motocross dirtbikes… I would definitely use surgery as a last resort. Many of my friends that have went through the surgery talk about how rough it is and how the problems kept occurring afterwards! Regardless I will keep you in my prayers!!
Another great video doug
They get it tomorrow! 🙌🏽
Best ability is availability Doug! 😂 Working injured - we appreciate it
need to help that o-line and or that d-line
Another great segment Doug. Regarding the OLine not being tested this year I think they’ve been battle tested already because it’s mostly the same guys. In my opinion it’s the DLine that need that test because of all the new guys on that end. Keep up the great work. FinsUp!!
Yes Content is great you and Omar and poopart Are the best dolphin podcasters, in my opinion, best for news. Best overall, oh yeah, you And omar kelly
U da man Doug 😤 get better soon
Once again, we go into a season with major problems on the IOL. Wynn cannot stay healthy and Eichenburg is Jesse Davis 2.0. We’re about to pay Tua 50+ million a year and he’s going to have pressure in his face constantly. Brilliant!
Love from the 305❤... Get well...
I slipped on ice in January and landed on my right shoulder. It's a SLAP tear I found out from my mri and PT. I wish you the best with it bro!! Hurts like a m'f*a being dominant shoulder and all. Hope we both have good recovery 🙏🙏
Also good luck with that mri. I about had to tap out being belted down to a board 😂
I have rotator cuff issues. Old man told me drink more good water. Way better now.
I would love for Miami to sign, Justin Simmons or Greg Van rotten but I think you’re right Dougie I don’t think Miami will sign any of the guys that you just mentioned.
"Rotator" cuff
Totally agree that Ryan T over M. White at QB is a no brainer. I know a lot of people don’t like Ryan T but his experience alone is worth the pick up. Keep up the great work Doug…
It should be 4 pm because everything else in the league is predicated on the 4 pm deadline. I don't know if that is when it will be but that's when "post June 1st" should happen.
No more Push ups Doug!!!!
Good luck with your shoulder does this mean no touch down pushups. Good luck healing love your channel
Cut White, Riley, Wilson, and possibly Eichenberg
Doug rocks 🎸
Wishing you the best on that shoulder Doug! Hopefully surgery won’t be needed.
Blew out my left shoulder Doug. Hope your shoulder goes well. Do your physical Therapy and every thing will work out.
I would take Greg Van roten
Dump some money into the o line, defense, we have offense to burn 🔥 How do you feel about Malik Washington Doug? I think he might be the most talented acquisition we got in the draft. I think we should try for Lawson realistically if he remains available
I've had rotator cuff surgery. There was an impingement they had to widen. It went well.
Funny you mention Tannehill as a back up qb in Miami. I always thought he took too many sacks and took too long to pull the trigger. How does Skyler Thompson not have a handle on this offense and the ability to take over the QB2 position? Perhaps it is time to find one of those starting quarterbacks in the UFL. If they can start there, they should be a decent backup. Especially since you do not like White as qb.
Hey Doug 🐬
3 bowls and only one for breakfast+doug in the am 🔥🔥
Bring back Tanny! He can actually play in bad weather.
I had a torn rotator cuff, But was able to get it repaired with arthroscopic same day surgery.Consideration...
Doug your right, Griers mentality is wait for things to break then he brings somebody in. Griers ability to stay ahead of the curve is not his strong suit!
why spend the money now? We might need it for injuries replacing positions or making upgrades after identifying issues in the season.
Not being a troll, must be said, because I love your content: but you can’t break your rotator cuff. It can be worn all the way down to be non existent, but not broken. Had the same issues from lacrosse growing up. It’s a group of muscles, tendons, and ligaments, that essentially hold your arm in your socket. Glad it’s getting figured out and better, just wanted to say: you can’t “break it” only damage or wear away.
Although rare, in my lifetime I've seen 2 backups with a Super Bowl. If the seasons " over " if Tua gets hurt, why is Mike White on the team.
I'm pissed at the Philosophy of the Grier and McDaniel to go so far on the side of speed on both sides of the ball. Is it me or is it pretty clear that the more physical teams win the more important games. Soooooo wtf are we doing? We've been clamoring to build a team on the offense of defense lines for three years. If it doesn't work again this year for Greer and McDaniel then we just keep running it back?
Hopeful that you are on the path to good health Doug. Thanks for everything you do!
Phins up
Recover soon we need you more than the dolphins all day
I want dolphins get Justin Simmons and James Bradberry too
Hey Doug I've had 3 shoulder surgeries for the exact same thing. If you ever have questions let me know
Bro, shoulders suck. I dislocated my shoulder the week before we played Alabama and played in that game. Mark Ingram rammed right into my sh1t after i blasted him from the side on the previous play. Never been right since. Actually dislocated last year pretending to be a dog for my daughter but nother tore just scare tissue and swelling. Its a SLOW RECOVERY. Best of luck man
No season touchdown push-ups, Doug! Haha
Time to switch to crunches for TDs! Double for "Crunch Time" TDs!
So with Wilkins gone, who's gonna be our "nut pincher" when we face the Bills? Lol (still say that's what got him thrown out of his first game vs the bills, before the first play!)
Hopefully your shoulder will be OK how is your father doing I miss see him on your show 😂
you're just as delicate as the Dolphins offensive line,IR for how long with that shoulder?
News starts at 4:51
They might add a defensive tackle
DOug what about Connor William status??
Now Doug… no POST June 1st! 😊
I dream of Calais Campbell 😂
Better get healthy. I have a feeling that you have a lot of pushups ahead of you.
Dexter Lawrence but trade away player
I have a sinking feeling that we will have issues with Tyreek and $$
Where do you think x will land or will he retire?
its called a rotator cuff. thats why I had to quit playing football.
Ramsey will be playing a safety role. I'm telling you listen to weaver. Ramsey, fuller, Cam smith, Holland and poyer will be our normal secondary. In nickel kader or needham will be added. If Holland goes down it will be needham.
I would like to get another guard but I don't see that happening.
The only addition I can see happening is X coming back post training camp and maybe a defensive linemen that shakes free. They wanna go young at depth. There are also only so many 53 man roster spots and if we load those with 1 year deals like the oline where do we end up next year.
Remember they drafted a safety, and signed a UDFA safety as well and still have Campbell who is a special teams guy, as well as flashed when asked to play last year.
It would be a mistake not to keep Ramsey locked with number ones. Until Ramsey starts to lose a step a star CB is more valuable level than a Star Safety. I think Holland will be the roaming safety as he plays nickel and S. Put Ramsey on the best Wr let Holland move around and fill in the gaps from letting Ramsey follow.
@synstro6198 as the 3rd sudo safety ramsey would have that option to cover the #1 in games where that is needed. Cam smith and kendall fuller will be your main boundary CBs.
@@synstro6198 think what Kyle Hamilton does in baltimore. I think Holland will be blitzing and used much like Flo did
Doug on IR ?
I want a guard and Suh wouldn't mind Simmons at saftey
Need a center a reliable backup
@@truthseekerchris8766 I think Liam is good for center back up
@@austinpinnow1218I agree or LG
Phinz UP
Why keep White? Think about it... Skylar held the team together when he needed to. think of the Widcard game yr before last. Wasnt a great game for him sure, and we were screaming if only Tua wasnt hurt.. Then Tua gets to the playoffs and well it goes sideways quick... now think had at any point was anyone thinking oh mike white could do it? No.. Skylars name was getting called by the end of KC by some fans... idk why spend the money on nothing... maybe just go watch some film.. Skylar makes mistakes but comp to White it seems manageable and risk reward is higher.. 3qbs was always ridiculous to me.. keep cheap talent over whatever White is supposed to bring... get your 3 mil back and get more depth in another position
Risner!
he already resigned with vikings
So you and Big O are on IR?
Rotator cuff 😂 I broke two ribs fracture collar bone in three places plus a separated shoulder on the same day this guy just thinks he’s hurting
GO GET TANNY!!! & USE NEW CAP SPACE FOR THE TRADE DEADLINE OR ROLL IT OVER.. 🤙🏽❤️🐬🫡 U got a torn lebrum
Pay Tua
Trade for Budda baker that would be awesome!
Dolphins depth on defense is too high they most likely plottin on a 2 for 1 or 3 for 2 typa trade
The Smart thing to do is pay tannehill as a back up for one year and let tua prove it if he can pay him what he wants if not rebuild
Are u guys happy with our punter
Yes cuz we hardly ever punt
No, I wanted them to go grab Matt Ariza, but KC scooped him up instead.
Dont you have a QB u need to pay?
Doug, what are you dislocating your shoulder for?! It just sounds like a bad idea all around. Don't do it again! SMH
Miami needs to use the money wisely: there’s only one Tua so act smart and sign him to a extension contract- tua’s the key to Miami getting to the playoffs and the Super Bowl, that’s a No-Brainer
As much as I hate Mike White, trannyhill is even worse, he holds the ball too long, takes too many sacks, fumble & int prone as well. There's tons of cheap QBs avail if we need a #3
TANNIHILL IS TO MUCH OF A THREAT, Tua is to soft to have competition.
You’re just in bad shape Doug, c’mon. Can’t just do touchdown pushups. You gotta stretch everyday and actually weight train. Don’t tell me you can’t afford a membership to your local planet fitness 🤦
LETS GO DOUGPHANS
