Looks good. I do two boxes of muffin mix, can of creamed corn, 1 cup sour cream (we do dairy free cause grand allergic), and two eggs. It is my kids and grands favorite cornbread. Sometimes I’ll add green chilis or other add ins to change it up.
Hey Kris & Tom!! Looks like Jack totally missed out cos this looks really good. I've already put it on my "gotta try" recipe list. And it reminds me of one of Chirpy's Happy Accidents that I still make occassionally today. It was the end of the month & pickings were slim, but she had canned chicken, and enough to make homemade Alfredo Sauce; but no pasta. She went ahead & made Chicken Alfredo Sauce as I helped to figure out what to put it on. We almost did the SOS thing & do toast, but we remembered the cornmeal in baking table. So she made homemade cornbread, and got a can of peas (no broccoli but it was green) to add. Like you she poked holes in the warm cornbread & poured the alfredo sauce over it, and I put the can chicken & peas on top. Then we still a little the Gov't Cheese left (miss that cheese, so good!!) and used it - layered in on top. Then just put in the oven til the cheese melted. (It wasn't on, but was still warm enough to melt the cheese.) We never came up with a name for it, 25+ yrs later I still make it. So yeah... I'm gonna try this cos it looks like something she would've made too.

That is a lot of dill. I didn't get any cucumbers out of my garden this year. So I will have to buy pickling cucumbers to make my pickles. This dinner looks amazing!! Eat some for me 😊 Blessings dear friend ❤

For those of us ( Me). That doesn't eat corn or corn bread. I'm thinking I could do biscuit, stuffing, or cauliflower rice as a base, then a veg of choice. ❤

Oh if you have a garbage disposal put the lime or lemon in there to freshen it up.
