    When the input at state 4 is a zero, we have to go back to state 0 otherwise the sequence is broken and we get as output 001 which initially was suppose to be 1001.

      yes brother , i have the same doubt

    • @jakemangabay1879

      I would disagree. Remember when we got to state 4, it means we already entered "1" from state 3. This means we already formed the first element of the sequence, "1". Now, inputing "0" means we satisfied the 2nd element which means we completed "10" which is at state 2.

    Hello, I would like to inquire of why s3 does not produce output 1 as it leads us to s4 when the input is 1. Since you said output is determined by the current state

      The equation said 1100 ... When S1 is 1 the diagram moves when S2 is 1 it moves when S3 is 0 it moves ... So it has to be a 0 as stated on the equation the you loop the 1 back to where the first 1 occured

    s3 can go to s2 when Input is 0

    • @shreyaspoojari930
      @shreyaspoojari930 3 года назад +1

      no , then it becomes 001 , because there is no loop from s4 , so we cant get 1001 sequence

      if 0 is received in S3, the sequence gets broken. it has to start from 1st 1 only. so , it should move to initial state.
