  • The Faile family from Kershaw, South Carolina, was the Columbia Metropolitan Airport Military Family of the Game, set to be recognized on the field. Their first surprise was a message to them from their dad/husband, Sergeant First Class Scott Faile, playing on the video board, followed by an even bigger surprise. The Gamecocks would go on to beat Georgia, 35-7, just as Sgt. Faile predicted.

    I was at this game. The crowd was louder in that moment than the entire beatdown of UGA. It was truly a wonderful experience. Four years later and I still have something in both of my eyes....

      Christopher George This was at the 2012 Georgia game? Great game to be at, and I wish this had been played on ESPN instead of the usual pregame. But I imagine seeing the video doesn't do it justice...

      @@spraynardtaarkus8168 That is what I LOVED about being in the Student Section at Williams Brice: We're all family there. Even if you have never met the guy or girl in the seat next to you, put on the garnet and black, and you'll be hugging and high fiving all through a win. It's a great place to watch a game!!

    Soldiers dislocate their normal lives in the word of command. In a words of service to the country for the family and others safe. They submit their own freewill to allow perpetual constraint of their own accord. Salute to all Soldiers outhere!!

    • @sonofyemen9700
      @sonofyemen9700 4 года назад

      @@pauljohnson3340 Well he expressed it in a harsh way and of course many american soldiers are good people but the core of his message is true. America supported Saddam Hussein during the Iran Iraq war eventho it was known he used poison gas against Iranians and Kurds, they sanctioned Iraq after the second gulf war leading to the death of 500.000, all reasons for the Iraq war were lies and the invasion lead to a huge instability which caused the rise of isis. In Vietnam, Iraq and so on the US military used chemical weapons such as Napalm and white phosphourus which burned thousands of civilians to death and lead to disabled newborns even today. The USA has overthrown mutliple reform oriented governments to secure their power (such as in Iran 1953 or Chile 1973), they also surpressed workers of United Fruits in Guatemala and overthrew those who stood up against the almost non existent wages and tried to establish some kind of workers rights. Of course many soldiers have good intentions, and these should be honored. In return, those who rape children, murder famlies, shoot up civilians from helicopters, make use of napalm and chemical weapons should not be honored but trialed.
