RINGO CRUISE PUTS ON AN ACTING CLINIC!! Had to make some compromises to get this uploaded 🙏🏾 Sgt. Pepper's Wednesday! 🚨UNEDITED VERSION: patreon.com/dariusdevon
@@lifeofdariius IIRC, a mysterious looking book that came into play somehow on the beach (I don't recall exactly how, and couldn't see it in this edited/ copyright blinded version) was actually a real book on Indian philosophy, and George was immediately intrigued - his first exposure to Eastern spirituality and Indian culture that in turn led to so much interest in it in the West, with its effects including in music and the popularity of yoga and meditation.
As a longtime Beatles fan, watching you discover their magic and genius for the first time is such a vibe! Your personality is super charming too! Sometimes you just gotta sit back and appreciate the good stuff of this world. Thanks for hanging out and keeping us company. ^^
This was def their ‘stoner’ movie. You need to watch The Beatles ‘Anthology.‘ Their stories about making it are hilarious! Fun fact: the lead actress was named Eleanor (sound familiar?) BTW, I love that you love ‘The Night Before’ as much as I do. Banger.
@@270yis7 I love when George explains that it took them several days to shoot the palace sequence because they kept forgetting their lines and giggling lol
Yes! Been waiting for this one! This film is pure British humour and I love it. John may have found it embarrassing, and it may have been a nightmare for them to work on for them, but it's still my favourite Beatles film. P.S. Whoever said he shouldn't have popcorn needs a lesson on how to act in society.
60th Anniversary of HELP coming next year. Original movie release date - August 25, 1965. I was 10-yrs-old then & my friends & I went to the theater for the first showing at 10am!! We didn't leave the theater until after the third showing, when we all had to get home for dinner. We loved it THAT much, maybe more, & the fact that so much didn't make sense made it that much more fun!!! And the music can't be beat. Wish I could spend that day again!! 😍😍😍😍
We did that too, but we stayed all the way through from the first showing of the day until the last showing at night.. But my friends and I were 18 years old in 1965, so we didn't have to go home for supper. We did this quite a few complete days while it was in the theaters. Just couldn't get enough of our Beatles!! My friends and I ALSO did that SAME thing when "A HARD DAY'S NIGHT" was in the theaters back in '64
@@hopebgoodnah it means a really good remix that blows away the horribly panned Ringo-less and Paul-less records that fans still defend to this day purely out of rose tinted glasses
Super silly, but some wonderful lines: Ringo: "What was it that originally attracted you to me?" John: "You're very polite, aren't you." Producer: "Boys, are you buzzing?" John: "No thanks, I've got the car." During curling: "That went so fast it's smoking." John: "Only Paul and me know we're here." George; "*I* know we're here."
Victor Spinetti who played a part in Hard Days Night and a scientist in help, also was in the Beatles third movie Magical Mystery Tour. He was also seen in various other Beatles songs and productions. They felt he was good luck, even though the Magical Mystery Tour movie was their biggest ever failure.
Victor Spinetti played the stage director wearing the fuzzy sweater, in "A HARD DAY'S NIGHT" He was close friends with ALL the Beatles. I was able to meet him at Beatlefest (Now called "The Fest for Beatles' Fans") in Chicago years ago. It is a 3 day Beatles convention which is a LOT of fun. Victor was one of the main speakers that year and he had so many stories to tell about the Beatles, and he could imitate each one of their voices PERFECTLY! Had my picture taken with him. NICE MAN. Sadly he is deceased now.
George Harrison told Spinetti, "You've got to be in all our films ... if you're not in them me Mum won't come and see them - because she fancies you."But Harrison also later told him, "You've got a lovely karma, Vic."
I saw this in a theatre when it came out, and the girls literally screamed through the whole movie.. especially anytime one of the Beatles lost their shirt...or Ringo's pant zipper came loose and his pants fell down.. or when Paul was naked on the floor.
