I know I repeat too much but I love all the ferns and evergreens you guys have. Fun to see the deer too. Yours seem smaller than our white tail deer but it may be my inability to perceive the size in the video. Oh and they are "evergreens" not "Christmas trees" lol. Ever- greens is the general term for the varieties including spruces, pines, fir trees and such. I forget if hemlocks are included....too many decades since I took botany at the university. Yes it is hard to imagine that I actually graduated with a BS from college. Yet I have no desire to go back to the days when my brain and body were stronger. I want to go forward for we are strangers passing through. No matter the beauty we see here now on earth..what is to come is FAR better!!!! Hard to imagine! As you say we can have a powerful experience in the woods here and now so how could we ever imagine heaven? no-can-do! or dew! lol GBY Andy
Hi, Janet. I hope all is well, our weather has turned stormy, I am hoping to get out again tomorrow, but I fear I'll not be able to. I do really enjoy my time here. It's just such a blessing! GBY, Janet.
I tried similar with my Flip yesterday. Did ok, but it does take some getting used to. Also had to turn off the sensors that cause it to stop when in gets close to any objects. I also found that the Flip does flip!! (video in my channel). Where I fly is a bit hilly and easy to lose signal so not as easy . Tried some Direction Tracking as well. It takes some getting used to and especially the way the Flip responds to movement. I also took the Neo for a little walk. Happy flying!!
@@MadDogsandEnglishman Not sure why you didn't get notified. Have you got the 'bell icon on? hope work picks up for you by the way. It being after Christmas it's possible people have other bills to pay.
Just came back from a few days away in the campervan in the New Forest, some lovely campsites right in amongst the trees, wonderful. Another place you might like to try, 20mins down the road from Savernake is Collingbourne woods, quite interesting in places. You’re getting very skillful with that neo 👍
@skywalkerdream2490 Hi, Skywalker. I have several places mapped out. The woods you have mentioned are where I will go when the days get longer, and they aren't too far from me either. Collingbourne woods was where I was looking at the other day, I think there's an old castle nearby. That would be worth checking out.
Wow!! That was awesome . Lovely deer . People say the Neo is noisy but this being my first drone i really don’t notice it . I’ve watched loads of other videos and comparing the noise difference. So yes i can now understand . Looking forward to the new propellers . Cheers Andy keep them coming please 👍
@markbowen5516 Hi, Mark. Hopefully, the new props will be here by Monday. I think it will make a difference. They are 5 spoked rather than 3. So that should reduce the noise a little. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.
Another good one Andy. It is always so inspiring to see the gifts of nature out in the beautiful forests. The drone is such a great way to get a close up look at what is out there beyond the view from the trails and paths. And the excitement of trying to snake your way through the little gaps and angles of the trees and brush is a real attitude booster for both you and the viewer of the video. Keep enjoying yourself and keep your spirits up, make the best of each day. See you on the next one, thank you for another quality video.
@campfire52 Thank you, Terry.. Your input is inspiring. We are to inspire and lift up our spirits when times are tough. This helps me do that, and to have you watch and comment is a real booster!
@metabugs7702 Hi, isn't it just a wonderful thing to do. I really love this low forest flying. I aim to get outnagain tomorrow, but the weather forecast is set to be bad/horrendous for parts of the UK.
You my friend are a good candidate for some FPV goggles. The only problem is they aren't compatible with that transmitter. You would have to get the FPV or motion controller.
Andy, Living in Devon all our forests blow away and we are just left with moorland.....But we have abandoned old stone cottages and mines. have you thought about trying the Neo in some old buildings (not new age urban exploring in Marks and Sparks) but here is a suggestion The remains of the WWII heavy anti aircraft gun battery at Burytown Blunsdon.

Yes the propellers make a lot of annoying noise, it would be nice if that could be reduced with your new set of propellers. I had a neo flymore combo, unfortunately the neo broke pretty quickly. "ESC connection error repair by dji required". The rear motors would not start anymore, I returned the set to Amazon. Maybe I will buy a new set. What I loved about the combination was the FPV experience it gave. The combination of the neo, goggles and motion controller made it excellent for the way of flying you do in the forest. Much more immersive with the goggles. I can highly recommend the goggles and motion controller. I enjoy your videos, keep up the good work.
@fransbr92 Hi, Frans, FPV sounds good, but I'm not a fan of the tilting and the swaying FPV gives, I may look into it some more, but I'm happy as I am. I'm not ruling it out, I need to do some more research. Sorry about your drone, I guess you've been unlucky.
Another very nice flight
Subscribed a couple of weeks ago and I'm really enjoying your videos. Find them really relaxing. Forest flying is my new drone quest.
Hi Andy, thank you for taking me through the woods. Always good to see wildlife in your videos. Cheers!
Hi, Dan. Thanks for watching. It was a pleasure. 😊
Great video. I agree flying drones helps the mind.
Going to be great seeing these forests change through the seasons
@neilwildy4192 And I'll be there to capture it. I think the flying will get a little easier as more growth appears on the twigs, etc.
Always fun to watch you flying amongst the trees, thanks for the adventure!
My pleasure. I just love doing this.

Good spot of the deer Andy - the drone is great for creeping up on nature.
@dradrianvenables7627 Hi, Adrian. It will be even better when I get the quieter props. Should be here in a day or so.
Loved seeing those deer 🦌 and “The Lesser Spotted British Yeti”
😂👍
@WildCaptures Haha. Yes, this was a treat! I knew that Yeti was in here somewhere. Hopefully, I will see him again in the next one. 🤣🤣

I can't seem to locate the gunning placement. Have you any idea where it's located?
