I am a black man now 61 years old it was in 1975 that by accident I just one day turned on the radio and heard his voice I was not even saved at the time but god used his voice and drew me towards him until I got saved in 1977 oh how I love to hear his sermons love the old fasion preaching thank god for the gospel hour ministry.
Mr. Street I'm glad to hear of your finding salvation in Jesus! Your story is a perfect example of what I've always said about preacher Greene's sermons. I have said many times that if a person did not know Jesus all they had to do was listen to a few of his sermons and God would move in their heart. I started listening to him in 1990 on the Liberty University radio station every evening and it quickly became a favorite of mine. May God bless you and your family.
SAVED UNDER THIS MAN OF God when I was 6 years old. I attended many tent meetings with my Mom here in the Norfolk and VA. Beach VA area. Now 82 and Oliver Green still is active in my heart. I pray many will hear him and those not saved will find their way to God. SO Great to come across his sermons here. Vbski
I am a great grandmother of the age 78 years old. I started listening to Oliver green when I got home from school at the age of eight. I couldn’t wait to get home from school to turn on and listen to God‘s word instead of music! Listen to him as long as he was on the radio! He’s with the Lord now
My daddy loved to listen to. his program on the radio He was and is an awesome preacher My fondest memories of my dad sitting in his favorite chair listening to his radio I know my daddy is in heaven

This man baptized my Mother over 80 some years ago in the Catawba river in Boone, NC. THEY HAD TO BREAK THE ICE TO BAPTIZE HER. HALLELUJAH!!
