I fell 16 feet, fractured my foot, knocked myself out, shook it off and went back up about an hour later. Came back the next day and finished the job. Lesson learned? Yes.

clearly you didn't learn your lesson since you went back up on the roof while concussed and with a busted foot lol. at least you got it done and no further injuries.

An incompetent safety person probably will miss a bunch of violations on this video, but sneakers, shorts, not wearing hard hats, etc... c'mon people, what were you thinking when you decided to publish this video? Unreal!
Does not deserve thumbs down because there is a lot of good information in the presentation, but overlooking so many OSHA violations doesn't allow me to give it a thumbs up.

Why do you need a hard hat on a roof? And every roofer ever wears shorts and sneakers in the warm months.

@@rlcl4913 OSHA standard 29 cfr 1926.954 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Read it, but I think that it will be a waste of time for you. It seems like you have never been a Safety Inspector or a Construction Worker in a serious construction company.

@@UFGator1972 Yeah, I'm not going to read it. I work for myself so if I ever get fined maybe I'll change my ways but I doubt it.

@@rlcl4913 I knew you wouldn't read it after reading this from you, "Why do you need a hard hat on a roof? And every roofer ever wears shorts and sneakers in the warm months."
To make it very clear, employees working in areas where there is a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, shall be protected by protective helmets. Any project that has a crane requires everyone to wear a hard hat, even roofers. But most General Contractors require that all workers wear hard hats 100% of the time no matter what the exposure is.
Anyway, good luck it is your life, don't become an OSHA stat.

I never used any harness’s, ropes. Never , well..ok a couple times I tied my latter. Lmao ain’t no body got time for that! Never fell, never even close to falling. Love the belt hoist! Better then a wire cable bringing up a platform. Hazard analysis?! Bro🤗.. when does the actual work start? I love L.IF. H.O.I.F. You guys rope off on a flat roof?! You must charge an arm and a leg per square. Omg wtf 35:23 shame on whom ever sealed that anchor. For shame! Everything was so professional until i saw that lol. Fear and respect the edge you’ll never fall. That what my papa told me and what his papa told him and what his papa told him. Facts!
