Hi, requesting a video on programming/debugging with Arduino and AVR using MPLAB SNAP
سلام عليكم
pickit 2 هل لديها ميزة ال debugger
اللي شفناها مع حضرتك في هذا الفيديو أي نستطيع رؤية variabels كيف تتغير مع خطوات code ؟
النسخة الاصلية منها مدعومة بالفعل من MPLAB
و يمكن استخدامها ك Hardware Debugger
و بمجرد توصيلك لها على الكمبيوتر سيتعرف عليها البرنامج , لست متأكد بشأن النسخ الصينية من المبرمجة و ان شاء الله اوضح الموضوع دا و نجربه فى فيديو قادم .. هى صحيح معى من سنوات عديدة لكن ممكن نعمل لها مراجعة سريعة

سلام عليكم ، ممكن نحنا نعمل debug ل code لما يكون شغّال بسرعة ال cpu لنعرف اين المشكلة في code لأن بعد ما يكون شغال لوقت معيّن تنام cpu
يب اخى هذه الاداة تسمح لك بعمل Debug
لل كنترولر بتاعك و هو شغال بالسرعة الكاملة له
و تقدر توقف البروسيسور عند حدوث حدث معين سواء هاردوير او سوفتوير زى ان قيمة متغير معين اول ما توصل كذا يتوقف التنفيذ
او لما بين معينة تطلع 1 مثلا يتوقف البرنامج , و غيرهم من الاحداث اللى ممكن تحددها حسب نوع المشكلة عندك
المهم انو أجل يمكنك تشغيل البرنامج بالسرعة الاصلية له على التارجيت بروسيسور اثناء مرحلة ال Debugging

True! There are many servicrs that gives you an address in various countries among which the USA. Things like S&S, gave me NY address and shipped to egypt afterwards easily. The grand total cost will depend on weight and customs (random) and can take up to 1 week to arrive. Another services maybe better or worse
Is it better than PICKIT 3?
In my opinion, it's a very cheap and handy tool. I got mine for 7$ at 50% sale last summer.
However, you must consider the following:
- it doesn't power the target MCU. So you need to hook up an external source.
- it doesn't support soo many microcontrollers especially the old ones. If you're dealing with newer pics, SAM, dsPICs or so. It maybe a good solution. But not for the old targets.
Hmmmm .. i think that's it. It's a great cheap debugger tool but All in all, it won't replace a pickit3 or 4.
@@DeepBlueMbedded Understood. But, Microchip will slowly increase supportable devices for SNAP hopefully.
Also, they are no more supporting Pickit3.
I hope they do this in the future! Any firmware upgrade may expand the supported devices.
