I have the cat 8 connect and I truly believe this is not the best bat I’ve ever hit with but certainly the best bat I have ever owned and it competes with the meta and CF and the goods personally I think it’s better then the goods
Alloys tends to be more resistant, composite tends to be more flexible and shock absorbing. Both compress the ball and the barrel in different ways. For the new Cat8 Connect, the handle is in composite and the barrel in alloy. This helps create similar trampoline effects as other composite bats while being end-loaded. However, any HS/College player should pick up bats based on league regulations and weight/size.
