Aside from Kalim actually being a capable problem solver and improvising well, I like his SSR because of that little bit of Aladdin and Jasmine that you can see in him. And that is both never like to keep anything captive especially if they can set it free. Case in point, when those parrots took off, Kalim didn't even attempt to search for them because he believed it would be a shame to keep them in cages if they didn't want to be in cages. This bodes well for whatever Jamil will choose later. Also, I really like Kalim's solo stories because going back to him being a problem solver, we rarely ever see that side because Jamil is Always taking care of things for him, before Kalim even has a chance to try. When we see Kalim just a little outside of Jamil's reach, Kalim's big brother side really shines through. Of course, Jamil did a lot of work for this little parade but Kalim made good on his word that he would make the parade work. So when the parrots fled, he fixed it. I would like to see more of Kalim's capable side, if Jamil will let us 😂

Since I first saw Jamil’s story for this, I didn’t think I would be so impressed with Kalim’s, but my goodness Kalim really did shine through here! His charisma and optimism portrays an able housewarden that I used to underestimate. It’s refreshing to see how nice he really is to the other dorm members. I also like that he enlisted Silver’s help for the reason I thought he would, though I would’ve liked to see him here too. And then Kalim’s Oasis Maker is a feat too. Love that it the rainbow it creates would suffice to compliment the white birds as well as they say (again, would’ve loved to see it myself).
Kalim being a ball of sunshine and innocently tries to convince Crowley.. while I look at Jamill being all stressed out and annoyed.. mc on the other hand: *hesitates for abit* Ka-Kalim-san.. please don't rely things on Jamill..but- ne-nevermind.. I wanna tell him to stop stressing Jamill (you know why) but.. i can't..! I just can't! Your too innocent and I don't wanna hurt your feelingsss😭

Jamil has to do Everything I was fully expecting Kalim to just let Jamil do everything but Kalim *wants* to help. Ruggie once considered him "eager and biddable" and so he was easy to work with. Jamil has only two modes: Full Control or No Control and there is no middle ground That actually makes him a terrible team player. You're either his "Yes" man or you are in his way.
