- One of the most useable accessories to a wildlife photographer is a good pair of binoculars. I'll take you through the process of using them to improve you wildlife images and what to look for when buying a pair.
Thank you very much for this video. Very accessible for people starting out and you helped countless people to understand this field of optics.
Thank you Dmitry. I appreciate you watching them.
Excellent video Terry with some great suggestions. I took your advice from your last video and purchased Photo Mechanic. What a difference it has made in evaluating my images after a major shoot. I recently was on a Grizzly Bear shoot with nearly 3000 images, it took me forever to go through my images to sort what I wanted to keep. Since I purchased Photo Mechanic and followed your work flow I sorted through 2000 images from a Short eared Owl shoot in about 10 minutes. Thanks for sharing your tips and information I have found them so valuable.
Happy Holidays to you and yours!!
Wow Keith, it sounds like you are having a blast! I figure more time saved editing, there's more time to shoot! Thanks for watching.
Excellent video, now that I have a better idea of what to look for I'm better prepared to evaluate some better binoculars than what I have currently. Thanks Terry
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!
Nice video Terry. Not many photographers tackle this subject. What would be interesting is compared against different brands at similar price points.
I'm working on just that. Should be out soon. Thanks for watching.
Hi Terry! Great video, thanks. A comment on value: the second hand resale price of cheap binoculars is roughly zero. High end ones typically resell for only a fraction less than new. So that view per day is much nicer and cheaper in the long run!
Good point Simon. Makes the value of great viewing, more worth it.
