Someone pointed out that Janet was written by the same original author of Fennel, looks like a great project! Seems very easy to embed it into existing C/C++ programs. I might take a look at that one on a stream one day too (either here or Flux Harmonic). Happy new year by the way, hope you're doing well!

Configuring neovim is perfect place to try fennel.
You forgot to mention in the description that Lua and Fennel are languages used to configure Neovim

common lisp is way more complicated than scheme and lua and is faster than both of them
