The transition from enemies to lovers is done well. The chemistry between Adalind and Nick was there from the first episode. Glad they ended up together she fits into his world and supports Nick better than Juliete ever did.
Yeah, it only a shame that took the producers so long to take the message, believe or not, I was the first one to purpose this kind of "shipping" back in Season 1, pairing Nick with a Wesen, mostly the lady dragon, but also Adalind, because I liked way more her character than Juliette, this would be a better supernatural drama if Adalind would have been Nick girlfriend instead of Juliette, because Adalind would have no idea that Nick is a Grimm until he see her other face, also it would themes of love and trust between, after all Grimms and Hexebeast are mortal enemies, and of course there the issue of Nick aunt, even that she would be hypocrite if she says something against Adalind, after all, she had a relationship with a Wesen ones, but the producers didn't get the memo, and even then they refuse to kill Juliette.
100% Agreed ❤️ They're ❤️ and 🔥personified I shipped them from the moment Nick couldn't take his eyes off of her in their VeRy 1st scene together... The way they looked at each other ❤️🔥❤️
I loved them together and always hated Nick with Juliette. Adalind got together with Nick knowing the real him -- once Juliette found out about the supernatural stuff, you could feel the tension and they were never happy. He could be himself with Adalind, and vice versa.
Her character redemption arc was so nice and unforced. I loved it. I hated her more than any character in the show, and then I loved her more than any character in the show.
1:03 I love this moment, the woman Nick loved and trusted for years betrayed him and helped the Royals kill his mother, while the woman who was the villain and whom Nick would never trust is honoring Nick's mother as the other did not. Adalind earned Nick's respect and love
@@WardNightstone I walked away from it then came back once they did. Heck they’re among my favorite tv couples ever and Adalind among favorite reformed villains.
Adalind from season 1-3 and most of season 4 was a horrible match for Nick, but that all changed mid season 4. Juliette was good for Nick for the first half of season 1, but once she lost her memory, they should have either killed her off or let her left town. They ran Nick & Juliette and Renard & Adalind way past when they should have walked away.
@@joycedates2059 thing is, from the moment I watched S1E1, I knew she was the one for him. The journey for them was great, so I wouldn't exactly say that she was bad for him then, because she wasn't even evil then, she's just a woman who fell victim to the ambition of evil people, namely, her mom and Sean, she never had a chance from the start with that kind of influence around her, but the moment she met Nick, things started to turn around, even within that first moment that they met
Most underrated line of their relationship. They are in bed going to sleep and Adalind says to Nick "I just feel alot safer knowing you'll kill whatever comes through that door"
I loved the sparks between Adalind and Nick once they moved in together. They were growing more attracted to each other and their vulnerabilities really came out. It was a convincing relationship because we saw their progression and acceptance of each other, unlike Nick and Juliette who were constantly miserable together after she found out he was a Grimm.
@@missmong12 I totally agree. My husband introduced me to Grimm last year or the year before that and the first season I already didn’t like her character. She was just so boring and ugh! As far as the actress she’s gotten better now I think. I watched an episode of her as Lois and she was ok
That episode had good moments for all of the major characters. When Renard realized that the kidnapped Diana would be fine and went "meh" to himself, that was a tiny moment of great comedic acting from Sasha Roiz.
Nick and Adalind are one of the best cases of enemies-to-lovers ship. What an amazing couple! I was so glad they didn't stick with Nick and Juliette. They made each other miserable, and I didn't want the writers to keep them together just because of the actors' real-life relationship. Nadalind = True Love
I always liked Adalind’s character but seeing her full hexinbeast vs juliette’s villain arc sealed the deal. Even at her worst, when she was under the influence of the hexin-powers she wasn’t nearly as bad as Juliette got.
@@gloryvincent4083 Juliette wasn't meant for the Wesen world and she inserted herself into it after knowing and experiencing the dangers of that world several times. As soon as she got her memory back she had the chance to leave, she could've easily said she just couldn't deal with that world and left Nick and pretty much all knowledge of Wesen activity she had as it was. But instead she decided to be the go-between for him and Kelly, actively out Wesen friends of her's, travel to the trailer and read all the books, and just find ways to insert herself further into the team activities like the Zombie outbreak. But then despite all of these conscious choices she blames Nick and the rest for everything that happened later. Also it isn't like we haven't seen Hexenbiest who try or can control the more chaotic and negative traits of Hexenbiest. The main reason I like Adalind is that you see her truly try and struggle to keep it in check.
I don't see Adalind as a villain in my view she did the same as Renard did in season 6, she was just dumb and chose wrong paths, we see in season 6 that even Hexinbiest she is not evil (may be an effect of motherhood)
@@elton.r.a3815 I both agree and disagree. Adalind chose the wrong path due to her infatuation with Renard in season 1. Everything after that until she was pregnant with Diana was her being vindictive and retaliating against Nick's group and Renard, Nick and his group for taking her powers and later her daughter. Renard for abandoning her after using her. Where she differs from renard though is that she actually tried to change. While Renard knowingly chose to go against Nick's group everytime the choice was there. He was a friend by circumstance rather than choice. Adalind was also there by circumstance but at the same time chose to stay and really tried to change.
Grimm is one of my favorite tv shows and the best parts in the entire series are Nick and Adalind's love story. Every part of it pays off. I hate that this series ended.
I agree. The Nadalind story is the highlight. The only thing I hate about Grimm is that the Nick/Juliette fans seem super intensely aggro about the end and hate Adalind with a fiery intensity beyond all rationality. I get why, but its like, imo, Juliette doesn't need Nick and is more kickass when she is Eve and not pining for some dude. (That is not that great a catch, lets be honest, like I love Nick/Adalind but here's a guy that doesn't even ask how the wesen know he's Grimm til Season 4, lol, and often seems emotionally stunted to me, haha.).
I could feel Nick and Adalind's chemistry in the season 1. Even when they hated each other, I also love to see those scenes. They look like a couple who were fighting, not enemies. When Adalind did horrible tricks to Nick, I was excited and interested in her more. Her character is developed than Juliette. Claire's performance is excellent from the beginning until the end of the show. The way she changed her emotions from a cunning girl to a lovely mother. A hex to a normal person. I can't believe they're together in Season 5. Thanks for the great show as well as the writers. To Nick, Juliette is suitable to be his ex girlfriend, a partner. But the one who can spend with him the rest of life is Adalind.
Their story is so beautiful, I just think they should have given more importance to their story, the series deserved more seasons, there was still a lot of story to tell. I never settled for Grimm's ending. I don't understand why Netflix took Grimm out of the catalog this series is one of the only ones I watch over and over again and I don't feel sick I've lost count of how many times I've watched it plays TNT and I watch it despite being in English I'm Brazilian you don't understand almost no English. I just love Grimm 😍😍😍
Yeah, but that in on the blame of the producers, the producers really push hard that should like the princess in the castle, when the wicked witch of the west was way more popular and interesting character, hell, Adalind was going to be one season character, but her popularity overrun of the Juliette, making her appear in the opening credits in the second season forward, the story would be much more interesting and brought more interesting themes if Adalind was Nick girlfriend in the beginning and not Juliette.
Watching Nick fall in love with Adalind in season 5 was such a great storyline! Had me at the edge of my seat every week 💖 They've had chemistry since episode 1x01! Wish we'd gotten a full season 6, but I'm glad they got their happily ever after :)
Wish we had a movie seeing them and they're kids grown up. Just so I can get them out of my head! I keep making ridiculous possible what if storylines about them it's maddening.
I'm watching Grimm again for the umpteenth time and when you watch things multiple times you tend to notice things you might have missed. And what I'm noticing now is whilst the script writers/producers might have decided to make Adalind Nick's soul-mate because of Claire Coffee's real life pregnancy watching some of the early episodes from Season 6 I wonder if deep down they still wanted Nick/Juliette to be together and the reason I mention this is because there are still so many scenes that are "Juliette/Eve focused." The scenes with Eve literally living in the tunnels and listening to Adalind and Nick talk especially the scene when he says to Adalind "I thought "I thought was gonna go crazy without you" when she was with Renard, then for her to end up actually living with them after she collapses. I'm sorry but not only is that wrong but completely unrealistic! Then there's all those scenes in the Spice Shop investigating the writing on the cloth. Who's always there? Juliette and who else is always there? Nick of course and absolutely no sign of Adalind whatsoever. When I watch those scenes in the Spice Shop I immediately think "cliquey" as in Munroe and Rosalee have always been Nick and Juliette's friends and Adalind is just an after thought. Also apparently the producers said that they ran out of time for Nick to tell Adalind he loved her which is why he said it at the end in the "Other World" No they didn't. He could have told her when he went to see her when she was at the mansion with Renard or how about their first night together when she came back to the loft because script-wise Nick was starting to say plenty of things to prove that he was already in love with her not to mention the fact that Eve mentioned it because of her emotional connection with both of them!
I can understand that point of view. although I disagree. I agree that behind the scenes they were making an effort to keep the char on the show even after giving her the perfect exit, I just disagree about the reasoning. it's all just speculation, we rarely ever know the full story of the bts drama in tv series
@@lisaodom2756 You DO know David and Bitsie were dating and got married, right. I wouldn't call having them share scenes "deep down" at all. More like shallow as a kiddie pool Who doesn't want their significant other to get paid and get scenes for their portfolio?
@@heidist12 Given that David and Bitsie were dating and eventually got married, I would say that isn't speculation at all. Would you let your significant other go unemployed if you could help it? Wouldn't you want them to be in scenes with you or otherwise have decent scenes to have as future bankable references?
@@vissypayos7293 I’m not justifying what she did to Nick. You want to be mad about it then okay don’t watch it and move on at the end of the day it’s a show 🤷🏾♀️
‘We’re not sleeping together, we’re sleeping next to each other’. Sure Adalind! I loved Nick and Juliette as a pair, but the transition and character development they did in S4 with Juliette and Adalind was so incredible. Like you went from shipping Nick and Juliette so hard to screaming for Nick and Adalind by the finale. A-MAY-ZING!
I absolutely love this couple! They had this chemistry ever since their first meeting. Nick and Juliette have never shown such chemistry. Besides, if Juliette was truly in love with Nick, she would've never done all those terrible things. Actually, she would've trusted Nick, or at least would've tried to trust him, when he opened up about being a Grimm. Adalind seems a much more honest person than Juliette ever was, at least when it comes to Nick.
Idk if that's fair. Adi was born into this world where as Juliette knew nothing of it and spent 5yrs happily with nick and then, to her, nick became withdrawn, secretive, and the girl thought she was losing it. She had death spells cast on her, love spell side effect with Sean, amnesia, constant danger, and she still was right there with him and doing her part. Adi was the catalyst to her downfall. Juliette losing control after becoming a hxnb is understandable, but killing Nick's mom and actively fighting against nick is out of character to the woman we got to know. I'd maybe buy it if it was handled better, but as is, no. I agree that the romance of nick and adi was handled better which is really odd since David and bitsie are actually married now and we're dating/engaged during the span of the show. The writing didn't take advantage of the natural relationship between the 2. I feel like the show wrote itself into a corner with the turning of Juliette and the royals/war storyline that was either rushed or or not well paced and planned. There was so much potential and story lines that never resolved or fizzled. I do look forward to the show's return with the kids tho. I can't imagine not having Monrosalee n the gang back for some epis. Everyone is wesson save hank, so they'd age differently. Maybe we will.
@@nasheeanjel9967 When there is love there should be trust, the one doesn't exist without the other and the way Juliette acted after Nick showed her the trailer was so wrong. Not actions of a woman who loves her boyfriend who is a great cop and with whom she's living together for 4 years at this point. Especially with all that he showed her as proof.
@@za4arovashka what? showing the trailer isn't enough. she didn't really know aunt marie that well, so to most ppl it would seem she was an avid collector of oddities and weaponry/props. basically nick told her there are beastly shapeshifters among us, but we can't see the woge unless they want you to, but he can and this is something recent. at that time nick was stressed by his experiences with grief, overworked with difficult and heartbreaking cases, physical attacks on himself and those he loved, and so on. it's not in anyway abnormal to take a step back. she hadn't really seen what he had and grimm lore was different than most cultures lore on shifters in that they could change and humans still not see them, the shift had them turn into a humanoid version of whatever creature rather than that animal, being wesson was genetic save for det wu primal lycanthopy/blutbad , Juliet's hxnb, and grausen. Niads are the only wesson that most similar to common lore. if you remember she was still there, concerned, and the thing that would have convinced her was monroe woge in her presence and that was stolen from her because adalind cat scratch spell had taken hold in an attempt to take her life. she stuck around whether or not she believed him and when she was back at herself and presented with irrefutable evidence she fought in the shxt and the blood with them even though just being in their proximity put her life, her relationship, and everything she'd ever built or was in jeopardy.
The evolution of this relationship was handled in a way other shows should take more notes on. They didn't evolve this forcefully, they did it slowly and organically. They showed both of them having major trauma and needing each other to deal with it. Once they got under the same roof they both were able to relax for the first time since the show started. Adalind had been bounced around from 1 place to the next from the start, never able to feel secure because she only mattered as long as she had something to offer. Nick changed that, he never made her feel as if she if her worth was based on what she offered. She was able to just be her for the first time since the show began. Nick always was in turmoil with Juliette, he had to lead a double life, the man and the Grimm. He was never comfortable in his home because there was always drama even after work. Adalind never judged, never asked him to change, and excepted who he was and let him know that was enough for her. These 2 helped each other heal
@udochukwunkwocha3369 There has been many fans who comment and say that Nick and Juliette were better. I just can't see how they could come up with that. For the first 3 seasons they were constantly at odds and then when Nick finally tells her, she doubts him, doesn't believe him about being a Grimm. Even rhythm things get fixed and they are on the same page, Juliette is never happy. So I just like to point out why Adalind was able to succeed where Juliette couldn't.
i'm crying cause of how beautuiful this releationship is they are perfect for each other i love those guys together and welcome to the world af grimms and wesen mighty Kelly Burkhardt
as many have said a new series with a now adult kelly with his siter the triplets and others would have SOOO much potential they could run it on Peacock and people would sign up just for it
Please bring back GRIMM !! I already knew that Nick & Adalind were meant to be together when their first encountered.. They were checking on each other then get scared because they both were their first (Nick was Adalind first Grimm & so does Adalind was his first wesen ever lol).. And the tension atmosphere/situation between them in the beginning just sparkling lol
I shipped them ever since the stairway scene in Season 1 (or 2 - can't remember where it fell) - but the tension and chemistry in that scene was way better than Juliet and Nick at all.
Me too, I had it for them from the start when Nick had kissed her (well bit her) to take her powers away. That instant I knew for some reason that the two of them would make a great couple and I am really glad that it did. I finished watching this show last week and tbh I haven't found another masterpiece quite like it yep 😅 🙃
Nick and Juliette were completely forced. You could see that she was never going to accept him or his world once she found out the truth. I was so relieved that the writers allowed him to move on and find love with Adalind. She made him very happy
i shipped them since that stairway moment when nick was supposed to protect adalind from the Mellifers, bees...and then when he kissed her to get the blood of grimm into her..he found no other way but to kiss her and make her bite on his tounge!😅
I'll be honest the first time I saw this series was still in season 2 but few years later I found a video about Nick and Adalind I instantly went and rewatched the whole show and I find Nick and Adalind much better than Nick and Juliette
but overall I always liked the idea of a Grimm with a wesen (the predator fell in love with its prey) this idea was always fascinating and in the end we see that it was a right choice, In personal life he is a Grimm married to a Hexenbiest and in public life he is a police officer married to a lawyer.
during the time they spent together caring for their son, Adalind and Nick really bonded and connected, not just physically but on an emotional level too. Through their time and interactions together they got to know each other better, Adalind gradually became a more caring and compassionate person and she matured, became less selfish and genuinely started to care about Nick and everyone around her, she was genuinely remorseful for all her mistakes & bad things she did to Nick & his friends in the past & was trying her best to redeem herself & I think she really did, her redemption arc was great. While Nick hated Adalind at first and knew that she was a Hexenbeist since the beginning, but he gradually started to care about her & learned to accept who she is and accepted that she is a changed person. I think it was inevitable that Nick and Adalind fell in love with each other, even after Adalind got her Hexenbeist powers back his feelings for Adalind did not change & they both would do anything to protect each other & their son, that's true love. Some skeptics might say that the only reason Nadalind became a couple was because of their son, but I disagree, yes Kelly was what brought them together at first, but it was Nadalind's love for each other that made them STAY together. If Nadalind did not love each other, then they would've just continued co-parenting their son, you don't have to be with someone in order to raise a child together, and no couple would stay together for 20+ years if they did not love each other. I'm not surprised that Nick & Adalind got married & even after 20+ years later, Nadalind are still happily married & they raised their kids together to follow in their footsteps. In the end Nadalind stayed together mainly because they genuinely fell in love with each other, and not just because they have a son together.
Agree 💯. I'm actually watching the series again for the umpteenth time though I must admit I am actually skipping through some of the episodes until the Nadalind storylines. Is it me or does anyone else think that the series got better as it progressed and imo got a lot darker with all the stuff with Black Claw, the keys etc as well as of course the Nadalind storyline. Watching it again I think that some of the early Wesen storylines were a bit weak and tbh not very well acted
I watch Nick and Adalind whenever I can, lol. Great videos. The last clip and the Eve threatening Adalind always reiterates how forgiving Nick was. Because Eve hurt him more than anyone. Ironic.
The world truly works in mysterious ways. Nick and Adalind went from mortal enemies to love birds. Their story is “interesting” to say the least. I love them together, but it’s sad that things ended the way they did between Nick and Juliette/Eve. I think Adalind’s character growth is phenomenal. She practically transformed when she found out she was having a baby with Nick. Juliette however, went in the exact opposite direction. But she made up for it as best she could as Eve.
Nick and Adalind were a team, it wasn't just about Nick, or just about Adalind, they worked together for their relationship and to protect the kids. With Nick and Juliette it was a defferent story, Nick was always trying to protect Juliette, and she didn't want to accept who he is, the relationship revolved around her. Which for me was toxic
Just to add that Nick also didn’t accept Juliette when she became a hexenbiest ADALIND was willing to sacrifice her powers to help Juliette granted it was her fault in the first place. When she gave up her powers she didn’t want them back but knew she’d get them back and was worried what Nick might do/think of her. He knew that she had her powers back before she told him but allowed her to tell him to build that trust. When she told him he was okay with it. So yeah I agree with you 100 percent 😂 I’m sorry I just love talking about this couple and why it works
I love this pairing for many reason but I love how much adalind appreciates Nick and everything he does not just for her, from being a grimm, his work life and then also his home life she appreciate everything he does.
I always thought that Adalind suited Nick better and believe it or not I liked Juliet with Renard, but it's a fact that Adalind suits Nick better (she fits more in this world even to help him with some wesens) and that look that they gave each other in the first episode it was a different look, but I liked it a lot when the romance between the 2 started and I'm glad they ended up together
I just started watching it again on Amazon. I've been jumping around but I aim for a more linear watch. I just watched an episode where this kid was infected with a parasite and Juliet helped figure it out and saved him. (Season 3 I believe.) So far I like Juliet. I'm curious to see how I feel about Adaline and Nick getting together because right now, It kind of feels like she wrecked his life and trapped him. His love for her might be more like Stockholm syndrome, but I'll see if it feels organic to me.
OMG - Same- there seemed to be more of a 'click', in the brief time that Juliette & Renard were together- & Nick & Adalind's slow-burn relationship kicked their chemistry into high-gear...
I think the Nick/Adalind love story was better although unexpected as this was more fleshed out compared to Juliette's as the Nick/Juliette relationship was already there at the start
I think it worked because it was a natural progression of two characters who always had chemistry but had to evolve in order to truly connect with each other. The Nick and Juliette pairing was an ultimate failure; Juliette could never love the real him, whereas Adalind related to Nick's vulnerability and they calmed each other down as people once they had their baby.
Adeline as a hexenbiest was sneaky and conniving but she wasn't cruel. Juliette was cruel, accepted it and wanted the power. I am in the middle of this series right now and I am rooting on this hopefully developing love story that I'm going to probably spoil by watching this
I watched the show years ago only 3 Seasons but forgot a lot so why nick not with Juliette I’m now in season 2 rewatch but they had problems but I think they were then together again but somehow he’s with adelind was she not evil and stuff ?
Because Adeline wasn’t really evil. Literally all she wanted was to be a good lawyer and be loved until nicks aunt tried to kill her and her mom and Sean emotionally, physically and verbally abused her constantly. Then when she lost her powers cause of nick they abandoned her and made her resent nick. Not to mention when they all pretended to be cool with her and then stole her daughter from her for years. She did make dumb decisions out of impulse and resentment however I can’t really even recall her straight up killing anyone in cold blood. Juliette was so out of line and harsh even having nicks mom betrayed and killed, Destroying centuries of Grimm history, killing countless ppl, emotionally and physically abusing nick constantly and then making him miserable when she lost her memory and she was pretty mean to him even before all the Wesen stuff.
@@vistaxx Adalind's wasn't evil. She only ever LOVED. She loved her mother, who was the one pushing her to do bad She loved Renard, who was using her to get his own Grimm to control (Renard was the one who ordered her to kill Marie and drug Hank with love potion) When she lost her Hexenbiest she was abandoned by both. She sought to get her back to regain their love. She loved her child, Diana, who was TAKEN from her by Nick and Renard and lied to. She did everything to them in an attempt to get her daughter back
Many things happen in our lives that leave a mark. But not every trace is always at the same depth.Sometimes we want to follow those traces, sometimes we get lost in the depth of those traces. That's the only thing this movie makes us feel. From the moment he entered our lives, he left a deep mark on our minds and hearts. While watching it, you find yourself in the events and make you feel like one of the family. It is a movie that I will remember even after years and will never forget. The important thing is not to make many works, but to leave works that will leave a mark.Grimm is the best proof of that...Congratulations!!
if you love villans reforming and gettinf their happily ever after then check out once upon a time, its not as dark as this show but it has its moments
One of the weirdest romances I've ever seen in a movie/tv series, especially since Juliete was still such a prominent figure. But at the same time it's kinda nice to see these opposites grow together, and Adalind's journey from a cold, heartless Hexenbiest to a caring mother and loving partner was very well done. I miss this series so much!
It's crazy how quickly she knew. But I agree, she knew right away. I gimp it's because she hadn't loved anyone before until her kids. Them suddenly she finds herself caring about Nick just as deeply and so she just knew
I always wanted them together especially when I first saw them. I can only imagine what their children would be like though how powerful they are since there has never been a hybrid of hexinbeast and Grimm ever before in the history of wesen.
@@user-mu8ok5xf8d I wonder if Kelly has a vogue face if that is the case I could imagine that he has the blackest eyes with a similar look to renard when he changes.
Funny part is when I first started watching this show I couldn't stand Adaline, then as the series went on I started to like her. Then seeing those two get together I did a total nerd out.
That's the same with me. She only won me over when she is like emotional and says they should name the baby Kelly, and that's when I realised she'd changed.
No other character has an effect to me like Adalind did. I wished her dead countless times but how did I fell in love with after she became nice. The actress just did beyond great playing the villain
Nick married Juliette in real life. Though in the show that didn't happened. I was turned off by her when she refused Nick's proposal also after she completely went evil and sided with the royals to have his mother being killed. Adalind's transition started to evolved different changes of thoughts and feelings on everyone including myself.
Does anyone else find it a little strange that as David and Bitsie developed their relationship into a marriage during the course of Grimm series, their characters of Nick and Juliette went from being lovers to becoming physically and psychologically incompatible, with Nick developing a new relationship with Adelind, formerly an arch enemy, at the same time. At the very least it is a wierd juxtaposition of real lives and the theatrical arts.
As said already in the comments. They make so much more sense as a couple than Him and Juliette did. Adaland and Nick's love is so real and true. When Juliette had Nick her love was always conditional .And that never works
Adalind was perfect from the first episode when they looked at each other!!!! Her first Grimm; his first Vessen. I found Juliette annoying and useless from the start with no chemistry with Nick.
I wish Grimm had lasted one or two more seasons. It would have been great to see Nick and Adalind get married and have another child; a little girl they named Marie. She and Kelly are they only recorded offspring of a Grimm and Wesen; making they both special and unique, and sought out by everyone. Marie is able to woge into a white skin hexenbiest with a skeletal face and pitch black eyes. Though, she may not be powerful like her older sister Diana, but she processes a great deal of power, which she usually gets her into trouble.
i like the compilation for season 5. I wish there was more moments of them but it was nice to see them together. This was the best part of season 5 for me. The main story was kind of meh.
It’s kinda crazy that he had better on screen chemistry than with his actual girlfriend is kinda crazy. I’m not sure if that’s due to the quality of acting or the fact they’d already been together a while irl.
I really liked how the ship began to get the pieces together to float. I did like Juliette and Nick as a couple before she betrayed his mom. But after it and how Adalind and Nick started getting closer, I was really fearing that she would die at some point and Nick would go back with Juliette. That didn't happene, right? Cause I haven't finished it yet.
There's a saying that love is strange. Nick and Adalind are an unusual couple. A Grimm and a Hexenbiest , 2 former enemies are now parents and lovers. 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
The transition from enemies to lovers is done well. The chemistry between Adalind and Nick was there from the first episode. Glad they ended up together she fits into his world and supports Nick better than Juliete ever did.
Not defending Juliete but there was no way to support nick. It took him 4 seasons to ask monroe how the wesen knew he was a grimm.
100% Agreed ❤️
They're ❤️ and 🔥personified
I shipped them from the moment Nick couldn't take his eyes off of her in their VeRy 1st scene together...
Amen!!
Though it's Adalind's fault what happened to Juliet. It wasn't a slide into darkness due to poor choices.

I'll be honest, as soon as Nick and Adalind got together; I knew it instantly, it was a brilliant pairing.
honnestly thats when i really got into the show
@@WardNightstone I walked away from it then came back once they did.
@@TheLibrarianOG1 I also believe that, but still bad. She had to learn to let them go, just like Nick needed to let Juliette go.
We did not get enough of Adalind and Nick

@@pratikshamajee3262 we need new spinoffs series of Grimm
Most underrated line of their relationship. They are in bed going to sleep and Adalind says to Nick "I just feel alot safer knowing you'll kill whatever comes through that door"
the fact that she named the baby after nicks mom says a lot about her character arc
Especially since Kelly is the one who killed her mother
I loved the sparks between Adalind and Nick once they moved in together. They were growing more attracted to each other and their vulnerabilities really came out. It was a convincing relationship because we saw their progression and acceptance of each other, unlike Nick and Juliette who were constantly miserable together after she found out he was a Grimm.
the RAP*ST and the victim were growing more attracted to each other and their vulnerabilities really came out. ❤❤❤

Problem with Juliet is, I don't think the actress delivered 😅
Agreed
Even after becoming Eve she was still bland
@@missmong12 I totally agree. My husband introduced me to Grimm last year or the year before that and the first season I already didn’t like her character. She was just so boring and ugh! As far as the actress she’s gotten better now I think. I watched an episode of her as Lois and she was ok
hands down one of the best series period. esp. when hank falls in love with himself.
Classic
Yes and you are right
That episode had good moments for all of the major characters. When Renard realized that the kidnapped Diana would be fine and went "meh" to himself, that was a tiny moment of great comedic acting from Sasha Roiz.
That was hilarious 😂
Probably goes to say, but I can't think of anything stronger than a mix of a Grimm and a Hexenbeast
Took the words out of my mouth. Nadalind forever!!!

hardly considering the final episode where Kelly literally confirms that she knows about it
Didn’t his aunt fall in love with a Wesson?
I always liked Adalind’s character but seeing her full hexinbeast vs juliette’s villain arc sealed the deal. Even at her worst, when she was under the influence of the hexin-powers she wasn’t nearly as bad as Juliette got.
Yeah but Juliet was more powerful than Adelind that was why she was so out of control and also her anger made it worst
@@augury2699 yes it's true, but luckily she left that ''bad'' side of her and we had this couple that is the best of the series

This videos comes to my recommendation and I realized how much I missed grimm
Facts, I used to force myself to only watch 2 ep a day because I didn't wanted it to end too fast
the way Adalind chose the name "Kelly" it hits Nick completely!
Same
"horrible tricks to Nick", you were excited and interested in that? dude, that was RAP3!!!🤮🤮🤮🤮
Daniela Galdine la estoy viendo en SyFy la empezaron a pasar desde el lunes todo el día y termina mañana es buenísima esta serie
Same my brother and I felt unsatisfied with the ending too. We even want to see the kids grew up.
Yesss! I think the series could have been worked on more at the end. It was definitely rushed and there was still potential. Love the show!
I thought it was cool at the end that Diana calls Nick and ''daddy'' when she says ''mummy and daddy are waiting to hunt wesen''

A-MAY-ZING!
The letter says it all ' I have to protect you', even though she's protecting her children she's also protecting Nick 👍
Well said! 💯💯
Let's face it, Juliette was just a very poorly written character.
Exactly a good relationship takes time and understanding
@udochukwunkwocha3369 There has been many fans who comment and say that Nick and Juliette were better. I just can't see how they could come up with that. For the first 3 seasons they were constantly at odds and then when Nick finally tells her, she doubts him, doesn't believe him about being a Grimm. Even rhythm things get fixed and they are on the same page, Juliette is never happy. So I just like to point out why Adalind was able to succeed where Juliette couldn't.

Hi Army. Borahae. 💜
during the time they spent together caring for their son, Adalind and Nick really bonded and connected, not just physically but on an emotional level too.
@@lisaodom2756 it's the "falling inlove with your RAP*ST and romantize it" is the icing on the cake for me. chefs kiss 👌

Just to add that Nick also didn’t accept Juliette when she became a hexenbiest
ADALIND was willing to sacrifice her powers to help Juliette granted it was her fault in the first place.
When she gave up her powers she didn’t want them back but knew she’d get them back and was worried what Nick might do/think of her.
He knew that she had her powers back before she told him but allowed her to tell him to build that trust. When she told him he was okay with it.
So yeah I agree with you 100 percent 😂
I’m sorry I just love talking about this couple and why it works
I love this pairing for many reason but I love how much adalind appreciates Nick and everything he does not just for her, from being a grimm, his work life and then also his home life she appreciate everything he does.
Season 4 and 5 are the best top season , second best couple in the show behind Rosalie and Monroe
(Season 3 I believe.)
So far I like Juliet.
They are incredible together I wish they had been together sooner!
I love them together and I’m happy to know there still together. they are my favorite couple in the show
I think the Nick/Adalind love story was better although unexpected as this was more fleshed out compared to Juliette's as the Nick/Juliette relationship was already there at the start
that's exactly what i think
It amuses me that this relationship was partly inspired by Clare Coffee's real life unexpected pregnancy.
Art through adversity...
Wait can you explain her real life pregnancy????
So glad it happened m, or the show would of been doomed 😅❤️
I think it worked because it was a natural progression of two characters who always had chemistry but had to evolve in order to truly connect with each other. The Nick and Juliette pairing was an ultimate failure; Juliette could never love the real him, whereas Adalind related to Nick's vulnerability and they calmed each other down as people once they had their baby.
imagine if theym gettign together was always the plain would have made the earlier seasons scenes with them much spicyer
@@iluvlafferty so you agree, pairing up the victim with the RAP*ST?! 🤮
Aww. ..I miss these two. This was a great show. Love nadalind!!
I absolutely loved the progression and the twist of this. One of my favourite parts of the series
@@vistaxx
Adalind's wasn't evil. She only ever LOVED.
She loved her mother, who was the one pushing her to do bad
She loved Renard, who was using her to get his own Grimm to control (Renard was the one who ordered her to kill Marie and drug Hank with love potion)
When she lost her Hexenbiest she was abandoned by both. She sought to get her back to regain their love.
She loved her child, Diana, who was TAKEN from her by Nick and Renard and lied to. She did everything to them in an attempt to get her daughter back
They are solo perfect together. Adalind suits him.😍

I liked it when they revealed they were each other's first (first t8me seeing grimm and first time seeing wesen)
He needed someone who really understood and supported him. She needed someone who didn’t use love as a commodity or manipulation.
I guess I can see the chemistry
They went from hating each other killing each other and loving each other they’re so perfect together
I always wanted them together especially when I first saw them. I can only imagine what their children would be like though how powerful they are since there has never been a hybrid of hexinbeast and Grimm ever before in the history of wesen.
Considering most wisen are scared of hexinbeast one that is also a grimm sounds like the boogie man has a baby with Freddy Kruger
Agreed!! I wanted to punch her through my television multiple times, but she became my favorite person later on!
Adalind and Nick belonged together. Their love seems more genuine that whatever Juliette had.
As soon as Trubal asks Adalind if she loves nick and she starts stammering you can tell she does.
It's a pity this serie had to end I loved it & i still do perfecto ❤❤❤❤❤
I miss this show! One of the best shows ever!
Nick married Juliette in real life. Though in the show that didn't happened. I was turned off by her when she refused Nick's proposal also after she completely went evil and sided with the royals to have his mother being killed. Adalind's transition started to evolved different changes of thoughts and feelings on everyone including myself.
This was a weird twist but I loved it. Her going from a villain to good guy.
Wish there would’ve been at least 2 more seasons !!! 😭😭
No.
Adalind y Nick eran almas gemelas...
Juliet never fully trusted Nick. She wasn't sure of anything and ran to Renard, More than once.
I've always hated Juliete. adalind and nick are beautiful together
Melhor coisa que fizeram nessa série foi esse casal ❤️❤️🥰🥰
This is great but should have included the first scene where adalind comes to the precinct to break the news about being pregnant the renard and nick
I love that scene too but that was in season 4, this video only contains scenes from season 5
Wish they would have done a Grimm crossover with Supernatural. That would be awesome.
i like the compilation for season 5. I wish there was more moments of them but it was nice to see them together. This was the best part of season 5 for me. The main story was kind of meh.
It’s kinda crazy that he had better on screen chemistry than with his actual girlfriend is kinda crazy. I’m not sure if that’s due to the quality of acting or the fact they’d already been together a while irl.
best thing that happened in the show
Really happy they ended up together.
She is really nice and pretty, even more than Juliet
I love them together. It worked because she understood his world but she also changed a lot when she realized she was going to have a second baby.
Yeah, she must've felt really bad after realizing raping Nick had consequences.
You will not be disappointed with how it ends
Yhhhp that didnt happen. But the show was cancelled but it still had a nice conclusion
That totally did not happen. Totally. You should finished watching it.
@@dramalover2032 hard agree
DId you finish it?
There's a saying that love is strange. Nick and Adalind are an unusual couple. A Grimm and a Hexenbiest , 2 former enemies are now parents and lovers. 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Weird right
@maelee5933 Like I said. Love is strange. Plus, opposites attract. Merry Christmas.
And now, husband and wife.
@@pranayshome120 Yes. Opposites attract and love is strange. Even stranger.
You eva hate a character until yuh love her, that's adalin😂
I want more Grimm!!!!!
I loved them together 😍😍😍❤❤❤❤❤
Desde que comecei a assistir a Série eu amei os capítulos deles juntos muita química envolvida 😍Pra min foi o Melhor Casal❤
