I was literally screaming "BEETHOVEN" and looking around in disbelief during the music starter

If you don't know Beethoven's 9th you shouldn't be on UC. It's his most famous opening movement besides his 5th

I am really going to miss this when you have to move on... Especially as no one else seems to be posting them now. Thank you for the pleasure you've given us over the years.

First Herbert with the Crash Course shirt, and now Whiteford representing Kurzgesagt! I'm liking Glasgow more and more.

Guha manged to gain and lose the most points for his team. Not sure what to think of that.

That's why educational institutions were formed - to tell you what to think.

That he was more useful to his team than at least two others.

What a tense exciting match! I wrote off Goldsmiths but wow what a come back especially from Guha and Issokson

Guha came back a bit stronger. Issokson was just being fed answers by her team as captain and spokeswoman. Her OTT facial expressions throughout were REALLY annoying.

I laughed at the "literature" "substance" abuse juxtaposition too.

Hampson missing the periodontium question, especially after Guha had already given him gums was a hilarious flub. Really shows how important it is to LISTEN TO THE BLOODY QUESTION

  • @MrLalitknaidu

Coming from an Indian, it bothers me that University Challenge adds so many India-based questions every time an Indian plays. At least 20 points on this occasion. Having said that, Guha was still the best player on his team.

Hampson seems stronger on any questions not related to medicine lol.

The show needs to hire some graphic designers, because these picture bonuses are very inconsistent and amateurish. In stark contrast to the questions themselves.

Adding all the other obvious and not-so-obvious stuff from the past years, can't help but getting sick of the agenda here. Going back to the vastly superior Only Connect. Maybe UC should push feminism by mentioning instead how Victoria Coren Mitchell is funnier than Paxman.

are you aware of how the team members are selected?

I can't bear to listen to VCM's smoking-induced gravelly voice.
