UPDATE: and there you see it...what ive been telling you for months...what has happened to him...its why his endurance is no longer there...he cannot play tour level tennis past the first set with a medium level player (can only beat the lowest level players now) bc he has no endurance. WHY? bc of his hlth decision about 18 months ago, now hes got dmgd hrt and dmgd Lngs, and its not repairable, like so many others i know. and the irony of it is, he openly chided novx for not getting it, but novx wife likely was the one that tipped him off to not get it, shes very holistic, he dodged a bullet bc of her advice. Ndl needs to b extremely careful not to over exert himself, or he could literally drop dedd like so many other athletes, and he knows it. He needs to play exhibition farewell match only, and present the trophy to the winner at RG and retire, quickly.
Is it the same reason why Djokovic was tired in pretty much every match in Dubai, Monte Carlo and Serbia Open in 2022? He only went a few months without competing at the start of that year (compared to much longer for Nadal).
