Thank you for watching my channel! I've been playing the piano since I was five, which means it's been six wonderful years of music. I truly enjoy it and hope to keep improving, especially with the support of viewers who appreciate my music. There's a special reciprocal energy that comes from sharing this journey with all of you!. If you enjoy my style of music, please share it with your friends and help me grow as a pianist. One day, I hope to be able to help many young children who never had the chance to even touch a piano. I started reading when I was two years old. It’s truly an amazing gift! Being able to read at such a young age has certainly opened many doors for me. My musical journey and talents feel just as remarkable. Thank you once again for your amazing support. Ethan
Hello my dear Ethan, A brilliant piece of music and rendition, as usual I'd say. A brilliant in all the senses of the term black piano, C2 I guess. Yama means a mountain, Ha a blade or a leaf. Makes me think of delicate Japenese prints. 'Tout un programme' in French. May be a C2 X. Improved with Österreich oiled strings and lamb wooled hammers.. They're very very good value for money and along the time I find the Yamaha sound less 'metallic'. Imagine that in the 50's they started making mopeds! Though I prefer Blüthner or Bösendorfer pianos to Steinways. I know you'll have one of these when 30 or 40...By the time I'll be dead...Their sounds are mellower and more 'subtile'; a bold and daring personal appreciation... Are you in your new house with your new musical friend? I feel you very happy to play on that beautiful instrument, you seem to respect it when discovering all its capacities. Now no mattress to muffle the sound! Your approach to this piano is touching. I guess great reserve and restraint. You seem so happy with your companion, it moves me. A gap between a composer and the score, a gap again between the interpreter, ( inter= between, you know that), a gap between what you feel and want to express and your fingers, a gap between the keys and the 'mechanical engine' of the piano, a gap with my deteriorating hearing, the acoustics of a concert hall or the hi-fi system. In a concert hall you'll play the same work 30 times, it will be 30 times different but it will always be you. Your mind, spirit, body and soul. That's why I love ( three or four words in Greek to depict love) your playing and delicate, refined, subtile personality. Sorry I can but love you, like many thousands of subscribers. I am no professional pianist no music teacher, so I am unable to analyse your technique. But I deeply appreciate the 'result' of all that. That's why I fondle and nestle the photo of your father, you and Lang Lang putting his hand on your chest, in the bottom of my heart. I reckon my comments are always a bit weird! ❤ from René xxxxxxxx
Dear Rene Thank you for your kind and insightful comment. Your combination of knowledge and experience truly adds a unique perspective, and it’s a lesson for me to reflect on as well. I appreciate you taking the time to share your thought process-it’s given me a lot to think about, especially in terms of how others feel and see the world. To clarify, it’s not a Yamaha piano, though it does have a similar sharpness and quality of sound. It’s actually a Bechstein piano, but unfortunately, it’s not mine-yet! The recording was done in a studio I frequently visit when I’m in the UK. We’ll likely move to a new house after this year since all my exams are scheduled for this summer, and a move could disrupt my plans. For now, I’m still playing on my muffled piano at home, but I’m grateful nonetheless. I often remind myself how lucky I am-millions of children never even have the opportunity to play a piano. I’ve been fortunate to perform in a solo concert for over 600 people and to appear before millions back in the UK. ( Channel 4 ) Every night, I pray and thank God for the blessings in my life. I’d also like to share something more personal: I have autism, ADHD, and Tourette syndrome. Life can be unpredictable, and I know my parents go through a lot to support me. Sometimes, I uncontrollably hit extra notes while playing, which can be challenging, but these tics usually come and go in intervals. Every few weeks, there’s a new one to adapt to. Still, I find life to be fun, and I try not to let anything bother me-unless it’s something as serious as death or destruction. Thank you again for all your kind words . Ethan x
@@ethanluktin My dear and beloved Ethan, Your frankness touches me a lot. It's a 'cri du coeur'. In the previous videos I had noticed that you suddenly looked up or touched some parts of your body. Let's say 15 years ago, I 'had' an autistic boy aged 12, I still see him sitting at the back of the classroom precisely on the right. He was nice, bright, clever and handsome as you are. He would never take his book or things out of his bag, but he understood everything I was saying, so bright, so intelligent, feeling so lonely in his own world. When I gave a test, I had to go next to him, asking him calmly, softly and gently to take a sheet of paper. I loved him so much. I still don't know whether he liked me or not. It doesn't matter. But I think he appreciated me. Hope so. He would not express his feelings, he was so rich inside of him. In the class the others were alright to him. I don't like that pseudo science which puts labels on people...which puts you into categories. I 'loved' ' my ' pupils so much and they loved me back, we had so lovely and interesting conversations during breaks. If only you imagine how happy I was when wrote in an old comment ' bisous' I had a few thousands pupils and let me say that boys like you are superior in all domains. I still wonder why you asked me if I loved ...same...s.e.x.e. Because you felt that I loved you. All your subscribers love you, more or less of course. Last but not least because of my experience you are not autistic but of course you are well ahead of other boys and adults and as you very sensitive you have a few tics from now and then, just logical. I will tell you more about the origins of illnesses when you are 13 and on What's app. Suspense! ❤ from René xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi Thank you so much for watching and for enjoying the way I play! It seems like you really like my style. How about I prepare this piece just for you? I think it could mean a lot to you. If you enjoy it, maybe you could share my channel with your friends? I'd love to welcome more people to join and hopefully have them subscribe too! I’ll definitely give Howl's Moving Castle a go, especially for you. It’s a beautiful piece, so please give me a few days to get it ready. Ethan

Thank you for your kind remark-it’s really encouraging! I believe you're from Japan, and coincidentally, I’ve just received a request for a Japanese composition that I'm currently learning. Hopefully, I'll be ready to perform it for everyone in a few days. Funny how things work out, isn't it? Cheers!
