Sadly, Nigerians think that Democracy is political drama. Overseas here, Democracy and politics are about job creation, increasing industrial activities, boosting food production, and improving social services. State and Federal leadership focus on economic well-being of the State, instead of Party politics. Economic well being enhances quality of life, breeds happiness and contentment, and brings peace and security. This is what makes a society Advanced.
Even the media is clueless that every time the Governor talks, they must answer question about improving the life of their people. A Governor is not an actor in a political drama or party politics. He is a steward of a State.
When you watch people like Wike from from abroad, you will realize he is just one of the present and past Nigerian leaders who have no idea about Nation building. Nigeria has not put in place any of the social, political, economic structures that help advance a country We haven't even started yet. Most Nigerians have no idea Nigeria is drifting cluelessly.
