Great report!!!This light is definitely a must-have.
the v mount solution is innovative! def. a no brainer for small productions.
Thanks for the news. It's nice that smallrig create derivatives of an already great solution
We need this ASAP
What's the max output on the 220w using a vmount?
Asking the important questions!
A battery with a voltage below 20V supports a maximum of 150W of power, while a battery with a voltage greater than 20V can provide full power output. Batteries that capacity above 150Wh are recommended to use with the RC 220 Pro series.
It would be great to have info on fan noise
The SmallRig RC220 Pro series fan noise for 1meter is 27dB
Dude says the 220 is available now. I don't see it anywhere.
Same! I emailed them and they said it's not released yet 🤷♂
@@Opel_Productions - Any word on when this will be released?
@@framewavemedia4831 on the way to the retailers all over the world
Is there a Bowens mount adapter?
220B pro not showing on any site as yet…
Ulanzi has one that's very similar: Ulanzi VL-200Bi.
SmallRig mentioned that it will come out very soon!! "Maybe in the beginning of October."
Does these lights have magenta/green controls?
when does 220 come out
Dou you know if the power attachment of the 220B is compatible with the 100B?
The SmallRig RC 100B and 220B can be charged directly via V-mount and NPF batteries.
Thanks. I know. But the 220b has a power attachment that attaches to the V-Mount. Is that power attachment also working with the 100b?
@@johannesabeling6460 yes , of course, they are the same BP port. The AC adapter of the RC 220 Pro series is 240W, which is enough for RC 100B.
Thanks. Will the AC adapter be available as a seperate order?
Does it come with a case?NODoes it come with a Bowens adapter ?NODoes it come with a power brick ?NOI don’t know what’s the high price for
why no internal battery...
Size. And if internal battery goes bad, it becomes a door stopper.
Internal batteries are bad long term - their capacity depletes - think of smartphones after 2 years. They don’t hold charge as long.

It is totally different....
