Igbos need to preserve zoro and phyno as the best Igbo traditional rappers. Flavor position in Igbo cultural music can not be contested

More and more artists are realizing the uniqueness of incorporating their African identities in their song - I love this trend. We appreciate you!
Central Africa here (Gabon)...
Those rhythms are really like some here... Love Africa!
Some Gabonese have a kind of history with Igbos
Some Gabon are Igbo
Rita Dominic's wedding brought me here😍😍..am Zambian 🇿🇲and I like Flavour
To be honest, it is the primal originality that hits you in your soul, and you wonder what are they saying ? I don't understand but I love it.... We are connecting to that.... that which is ours and ours to rule. This is just the beginning of how we tell our story to the world. #Nigeriansbekillingit
As an old school, original and authentic "Nwa 042", I approve of this video. Big up to Zoro, Flavour and Phyno. We appreciate you all.
The Whole of the East came out for this song's video shoot. Immense presence!
The tune is fire too. It makes me want to bring out a white handkerchief and start the cultural dance. Such an energetic tune.

@@Ishioma.O not all ANIOMA is Igbo.
@@uchealisha9510 well I am from Anioma, from Ukwani to be precise and I am Igbo.
Anyone who says otherwise is chasing the wind
@@Ishioma.O no you are not, if you really were then you know this isn’t up for discussion. Ukwuani is literally recognized as an official independent tribe of Nigeria, only tribe to have that designation in that region and our official language Ukwani/Aboh/Ndoni is named after the three dialects it’s not only recognized as one of the 323 languages in Nigeria but internationally with its own code - ukw 639-3
Lastly, ANIOMA is NOT an ethnicity but a group of people with different languages and cultures, ANIOMA is an acronym of local government, formed for political expediency just like ECOWAS but it didn’t work out, it’s extremely RARE for an Ukwani person to say they’re “Anioma” because it isn’t a thing, it’s just like saying I am ECOWAS.
Wow! This is beautiful. The rich culture in this country is everything. 🇿🇦
True African spirit.
First time hearing this song I ran to iTunes straight. The sound is something else. We need more tunes like this Africa, forget the style & tune of the westerners, this right here is priceless.

Still here in 2022!
Igbo amaka. I am lovin this song like crazy. The best thing in it is the drums (na ogene's sound o). I am from Hungary, but i speak igbo and read (of course i dont undetstand all, but many ;) ) Just wanted to thank Mr.Flavour and also P-square who inspred to learn this amazing language.
Ekene from Hungary. ♡♥ Daalu.

this is very nice but most of us the Igbo people can't even read or write in our own language...
Thank you all. :)

Even after four years, this song still gives me goosebumps...mad
I never get tired of this song 💥
Same here
Much love from the South West of Cameroon, I love my Region's culture, especially our swagg, but I respect Igbos for 1 thing, they know how to resonate their culture! They got the "Wuna must see am and hear am oooo!" attitude with the culture...

Damn ogene wahala dey ooo, this song dey hot ooo....smashing the danfoos 👍🏽
My people I understand there are many tribes in the Motherland we are one people blackness in many shades. We here in America ( black ) are the stolen ones. Please love each other for we are strong!! Chosen!!🙏
No love in Nigeria ..
Igboa are being killed everyday by the goverment with millitary and police , I mean in 100s on daily bases I ain't even lying .
So its hard to tell such people to love again..its hard!!
One people? Do you know what tribalism is? Black people never see themselves as one. Africans definitely don’t see black Americans as one. No hate just facts.
Yoruba and Hausa fulani are enemies of Africa/ black race progress
Flavour always favours🎵💕🔊📈😍 Zoro cane with fire on this one too💥☀️😮
Cameroonian Igbo here from the Bamenda northwest.
Ur welcome blood❤
These are songs that should be getting them awards, they'll never die instead they age like fine wine; getting even better with age.
Songs that project who we are, marrying bits of culture with modern day beautifully
Igbo music got rhythm plus incredible melodies.. Nice one Zoro..
Zoro you’re too good!!!! Please don’t stop 😄
So much fun dancing to this. Nigerians are on top because behind all the modern instrumentation is the authentic traditional drumming. That's why they're slaying right now. Any African should be able to dance to this if they just focus on the drums and ignore the piano and flute.. Don't look at the video, just let your spirit guide you and you'll get it. Easy.
The flute is actually one of the pieces of traditional instrumentation on this track. It's an Igbo musical instrument called the 'poi', and it produces a very distinct set of notes.
'Opi' not poi (autocorrection messed up the spelling)
There are several traditional Igbo musical instruments in this music as also shown on the video. The only thing I can remember easily that is not traditional is probably the piano that just played accompanying chords. The drum you are talking about is not that significant in this kind of music and in most cases is absent and the music still retains almost every shape you see in this one. The central instruments here are the 'ogene' and the flute and others are for back-up. Piano is merely present because they want and in fact not needed.
While ogene is the main instrument, the drum is the most familiar to most Africans and easy to follow. That's why I referred to it. If you wanna be pedantic though, be my guest.
slytheron ...''' If you wanna be pedantic though, be my guest'''.... quite a good description of yourself put forward by yourself. You want to jump in and show-off 'knowledge' of what you aren't even familiar with but your show-off display was a fail. You couldn't even listen and single out the individual instruments playing and you want to argue with me so that you can have another occasion to show-off what you think you know about African musical culture whether correct or wrong. Alright, let's contest it and my position is that there are many traditional Igbo music without drums and still others with drums but the leading instrument which the performers follow are not the drums and that typical 'ogene' music doesn't have drums. So I have created the show-off opportunity you want. But get your proofs ready as I get mine.
Am Zambian, but this music makes me love Nigeria more and more. They have a rich culture
1. Damn, I don't know a lot of Igbo words but this is what I love to see. AFRO hip hop authe-thick!
2. Next, we move to Afro-CONSCIOUS hip hop. kwenu!

Not necessary bro. This is Nigeria:)
@Omo You mad bro?
Yaaaas All Hail BIAFRA
+MaryplusFrances98 until flavour, phyno and Zoro publicly declare they're Biafrans, this will be considered naija music.
Ps, you igbos are the ones to come and say "naija" when a Yoruba guy is singing 🤔 I'm not Yoruba by the way. I'm edo. A tribe related to the Yoruba.
Omo Oba You still haven't answered my question. And let's be honest, the movement has already started it is going to happen soon. You won't need a public announcement to see it. Even the Igbo pride in this video alone is
enough. And who is talking about naija music Biafra music?

Exactly Bro.
Even though he was rapping, he did it in his culture and spoke about things everyone knew about. not some American bling bling. Moreover, he used an authentic ogene beat, even got the native ogene dancers to feature in the video.
I am so impressed with the guy's innovation.
+zwitterion absolutely!!! My mother is ibo so I def appreciate and understand everything being said on the song. We have such a rich culture that these artistes could tap into for material FOR YEARS but they too busy trying to be Americanized. One time for Zoro again!! " ji Ferrari jite n gene" I can't get enough of this song.
Nigeria to the wooooooorld!!!! Love it!! Aaaaaaaaye!!!
I don't understand a word but i can tell this dude spits fire
