Glad to hear the workamping is working out well. You guys sound very busy with it, is the campground at full capacity? The last state park we stayed at we knocked on the camphost door at 9:30am to see what time check out was, we felt bad bothering them but online and the pamphlet had different times for check out. Didn't think about being on call all the time. That Fort would be awesome for halloween as a ghost tour location. Whenever we tour places we always hope they have lots of signs to explain what we are looking at as well. Take care guys, don't work too hard!
my self is a 27/7 work-camping coming up. work for the department of the interior repairing and maintaining trails on the Continental divide trails. free parking along 2,600 mile trail. there are thousands of work camping opportunity's that go unnoticed. i use the .gov web site to pick and chose
that is well. and yes i do. i will be replacing the CDT trail signs from Montana to Texas. i am paid perdeium (travel and lodging expenses) i will be doing 20 miles each day although they do not care how long it takes me. i would gift to you the web site but right now? they are begging people to volunteer. the more that knows about it the less of a chance i have to get the job. ROTFLMAF. i am scheduled for next year to take a chain saw with me to clear the dead fall trees. that one pays an income. :) it would be nice to see what an income is like after over 10 years with out one.
i am so very happy this year that a very good freind of mine is now the Secretary of the interior. not that that gives me special privileges. my special privileges comes from my military services to the nation.
no that was selfish of me. the web site to find government paid jobs is www.volunteer.gov ................. this is a highly interactive web site. you can type in what you like what pleases you and where you would like to work. get an instant response of available jobs and what the compensation will be.
volunteers are not considered federal employees. and in some circumstance are not subject to taxation. depending on the compensation offered. i do not have to report compensation to the IRS involving per-deium.

I just came upon your channel. I had planned to subscribe, but see you've taken a break from adding new content. Do you plan to resume? Thanks

Solx That sounds really interesting! We might have to check that out when our kids are a bit older. Do you know what state you will be working in?
