Omg, I was talking to my friend last week about sacrificing in old Somali kushite tradition.
The Yibir clan are the priests who would come bless the child after birth and they would read the signs(star) astrology the child was born under and they would make suggestions about their character and or type of spirit they would become. Some occasions they would tell the
parent to sacrifice the child (that spirit) because they would know that spirit had come back to cause mischief
. They got rid of that tradition and demonised the yibir clan for this knowledge with Islam. Now all sorts of a spirit have come back to cause chaos. There is this guy who is in power in northern Somalia and his father was advised , by the Yibir priest, to sacrifice him because he will bring no peace to the community 70 years ago. He is a horrible evil man now setting the clans against each other.

I just gotta say Thank You bro, one important thing I've learned in life is for us to tell our life stories. Whether as an orator, writer, musician, etc. Haven't been around in the beginning but listened through a few 3am vids. It had me looking back on my life, seeing where I started to where I've been and where I am currently Appreciate yah fam. It's tough sometimes finding somewhere you think you belong or whatnot. Sometimes it feels temporary or long enough to take in the lessons that lead to continuous growth.🫡🙏🏿💪🏿
