Agree that the GOP & Media wanted a story. However, for 2000, I believe it was the Elian Gonzalez fiasco and not the impeachment that switched Florida and elected W. As I recall, "morals and values" were used against Bill in 92 & 96, both unsuccessfully - but the economy was good - no one cared and for good reason.

I'll definitely watch this since I really didn't care too much about what was going on in the world back then as much as I do now. Sure, this is old dug up news and sort of irrelevant in comparison to the ongoing BS that's going on in our world now, but it's still entertainment nonetheless. Well if you were around, and a young woman like myself, you would have known that by not having the affair, and when she did, then kept it private, she helped drag this country through a mess that was best left private between 3 people. I was mad at Bill for lying, (who cares) and pissed at this woman who was old enough to make the right choice, or keep her mouth shut for the sake of the country if she was going to participate in adultery. It was nothing more than an opportunity for his opponents to drag him through months of crap useless to running the country.

Its sad that the world convinced her to apologise to Hilary...Monica did not need to apologise to ANYONE.
      3. Monica Lewinsky was made to sign contracts to not share her side of the story for a decade which was basically Clinton's abuse of power, denied jobs in her field everywhere in USA...shamed for her entire life, bullied, harassed, trashed, eventually she moved to London and studied social psychology at LSE to understand what happened to her..

@@jeremyn2008 She's not being victimized. But since she fully realizes the consequences of the actions she clearly chose to do, she should still be given credit for it. People do stupid things both with the full exercise of will and not. And while it is right to condemn the affair she had with Clinton, she should be allowed to move on from that.
Her being feasted on by the media and bigoted people to this day is the very reason that makes her testimony relevant. Assuming perhaps that it were another scandalous thing that does not require much exercise of will, people are more likely to be forgiving. But then, not all the people who comment on the illicit affair do so out of wanting to correct her. Some of them do it out of their own moral prudery -- and while these morals are intrinsically right, they're twisted by people who care about shaming rather more than getting a person back on track, and helping him/her recover.
Monica was aware Clinton was married and having an affair, yes.
Monica acted on a sinful impulse that caused scandal and her very own downfall, yes.
But that doesn't justify her being condemned to be that forever, especially if she's owning up to those mistakes.
She's not even denying what she did and putting the blame on Bill. She's owning up to it, but then too many "RIGHTEOUS" people go overboard in their criticism. That kind of hate propagation is as much a wrongdoing, though of lesser gravity than a sex scandal.
I hope she's sincere enough in all this. And while she was truly "slutty" in her 20's, I hope she's truly reformed. Any woman is worth more than what people peg them to be, and any erring person deserves to get back up.
I hope she chooses to stay okay now, and not fall back into what she did when she was called "that woman."

You forget that she had daddy issues. Her father- the first man in her life, never validated her existence, paid attention to her, or was affectionate towards her. Women who have strained relationships with their fathers suffer from severely low self-esteem. They are unable to grasp the concept that they deserve to be No.1 in a man's life- a priority and not an option or a sidekick. So when a man pays attention to a woman like that and makes her feel important/beautiful, it is very easy for her to fall for him. And because of the low self-esteem coupled with the intense longing to be seen/heard/known and loved, they will not care if the man is married and unavailable. They're getting what they never had and that's all that matters. Not justifying what she did, but it is highly likely that another girl her age with her kinda' past and in her position would have done the same thing.

I was a young woman then who did not care for any president..but when the Republicans started to drag him through the mud..I felt bad for the guy...because..I knew that all these guys trying to crucify him were either doing it themselves or would if they could. Just the viscous of Republicans wasting taxpayers money . Look at the horrors their party has put our country through.

@@eric79boz by the time I was 22 I have been smoking cigarettes for 12 years drinking alcohol behind my parents back also for even longer. I lost my virginity on my 12th birthday and also within the next two weeks started a prolific adolescent Drug Fest. You might ask what I did well take a look at what was offered back in the early 90s and then it will be easier to tell you what I didn't do as far as illicit drugs. My point is though when I was 15 years old I started dating a girl who was 19 years old and had a one year old daughter, this is where you think the story gets dark right, well you're wrong. When I was around that little girl which was actually quite often I was the picture of sobriety, at 15 I remind you. Now you might be saying this is apples and oranges but what I am saying is females are supposed to mature at an earlier age than males yet at 15 I knew how me being all messed up on drugs, I didn't really drink at all and still don't, could be detrimental to the upbringing of this little girl. After myself and the mother were together for about 11 months that's when the 19 year old mother started telling her daughter just to call me Daddy. I shouldn't have to tell you but due to your comment I apparently have to explain. See when your getting ready to turn 16 in the US and a chick you are dating tries to get you on lockdown for a kid that isn't even yours that's a little suspect. It's not that these gals were young it's that they were scandalous. Hell by the time I was 22 I was already married for almost a year I had two children of my own my own place and three cars. Now explain to me how there was so much of a difference between my ability to think and Monica's ability to think or the gal that I dated. Oh that's right I wasn't selfish and I knew that actions have consequences. They both knew what they were doing they just didn't care. Just for the record I actually got married 13 days after my 21st birthday and never once cheated on my wife. So again tell me how 22 is such a young age back then.

If she had not shown that off to her friend, her life would have been very successful. If she denied the affair her life still could be different. She made the choices for her own life. Clinton paid for it, he was almost impeached and shamed in front of the whole world. To be frank, i have no interest in what she says now, just come to read comments.

She is very pretty, but she needs to get over it and go on with her life. Everyone makes mistakes and I hope she meets the man for her.

Maybe she can't. There can't be many people in the world who don't know who she is and a lot would snigger and make jokes just on hearing her name.

Why is she using the word crush??? Like she was 5 years old. Sorry when i was 22 years old i just finished college and got married a year later. Stop it. She was not a minor, you were a grown up. 0 respect for herself or someone else marriage.

I'm very happy she did this , So many judged her without knowing her side , her role , her feelings ,her story and it was unfair however wrong her actions were most of us have been in this same place . Just not with the President of the United States .

She disrespected not only all the founding father but she spit on what the White House, especially the Oval Office stands for. Go to a therapist get over it, stop looking for symphony from others. Stop saying your age had anything to do with it. I'm 22 and wouldn't dare of doing anything to disrespect what my founding fathers have done for are nation. Stop the pity party. You weren't the first nor the last. Just the first and hopefully the last to do it in the Oval Office.

Léandre Peck she isn’t the last and won’t be..
Talking about history: Our founding fathers ran the native Americans off this land and brought Africans over and enslaved them for hundreds of years. Then there has been racism and discrimination for many decades in this country.
But back to Monica’s case, Wouldn’t you want someone to forgive you for messing up in your life? I’m sure people have forgiven you. Let’s do the same for her.
