Whilst I agree with the positive aspects you proclaim I also fear the negative potential when the influence of over reaching governments on tech companies can effect the output of AI interrogation and the subsequent control that can be brought to bear on our lives. I have a background in electronics, some farming and now do some 3D printing so enjoy your content. Keep it coming. Thank you.
Really interesting video Andrew- definitely worrying for the advisors out there! 😮 And your idea for a farm records app sounds like 🔥! I'd love to test it out for you on my farm if you do start making one..! 😊
Evening Your "buzzwords" are what we use to say, " if in doubt, baffle them with bullshit" 😂 I am definitely a technophobe, I can reply to an email, lol however AI does concern me, I guess its a fear of losing control, a "machine" doing the research, and making decisions on "my behalf" With your background, if you struggle to understand/explain the concept, I'm definitely going to be lost in the technology Yeah you're right about the confusion in AI or AI lol Must admit, I was expecting Artificial Insemination as tonights topic Wonder what AI would do, if it was in charge in government, hm, not sure if I'd really want to know 🤔 Thank you for sharing this update, I think i may need to rewatch a couple of times to absorb it Take care Geoff😢
Considering Googles turned into a advert spamming pile of garbage its not really a great basis for a search engine any longer. Its absolutely painful to try and find anything on it.
I don’t know if self driving tractors will take off as we think, I think AI will be used to make real time decisions as tractor or sprayer travel through the field make a fertilizer application, herbicide or fungicide.
Anything to remove red tape, so we could have one of these AI thing`s attached to each animal. That will notify either the , NIFAS of her calving , veterinary attention , allow boundaryless grazing because it will predict grass growth, or feed her indoors if condition are less favourable, it knows this animals potential and will feed economical to it full ability. It up to you Andrew, you understand the future.
I've heard about it but get a more in depth understanding by listening to people like yourself who know what AI is and what it can potentially do. Things i've picked up from what you're saying Andrew is reduction of staff, and that's got to apply to every area of a business that needs a workforce, or am I wrong? Something else that's a bit of a bother is, what is the possibility that AI returns the wrong information by using what's been historically uploaded over time, as the answer. Or, can it never be wrong? Really interesting Andrew. Thank you for making it a bit easier to understand.
I don't thrust big governments or big tech to have the best interests of the people at heart. On the contrary, ai has the potential to create a George Orwell type world where all men are equal but some more equal than others.
WARNING!!! There is a lot of very poor data about dairy cows on the internet, therefore logic tells me that if you analyse poor data then you will get a poor (wrong) answer. This is a weakness of AI.
Do you not think, and you said it your self as to how much you are using it that it's going to make us lazy in not been able to think for our self's and what it comes up with is the right information even though it doesn't take into real life situations? Nothing against AI as long as there is kill switch somewhere.
I guess in some ways it will lead to laziness, but it could also allow to put more time elsewhere or cut labour requirements. It's the time and efficiency savings which is it's real value, and making it easier to record animal records for example, is surely a good thing and having a realtime advisor in your pocket could lead to better animal health. But I share your concern regarding factual accuracy. These AI models are trained using public data from the Internet, and the Internet isn't always right. And if everyone relies on AI, then who knows what the right and wrong answer is
@Matthew-nc9vm so there's two different sides to it - first it can be our secretary, do recording, management etc. and that's great or it can become our boss where we ask for information and we take it at its word .

As someone with a long time in tech, that was a cracking video! Top job!
👌

Great Video,I had an epic fail with chat GPT, I guess the practical application, needed to catch up with ??? thanks for sharing
Would you ever try adding molasses to your silage as your ensiling it even though you use ecosyl??

Incredible , your the boy
Really interesting video Andrew- definitely interesting times ahead and I am in a totally different industry but looking forward to AI helping

'All thanks to AI
my job is finished'
says Web Designer 👍

Collective knowledge that they want you to know.
Two heads
better than one
on steroids 💯
Tell AI to roof that shed or clean out them gutters. See how useful it is then.

I think ai has been around a lot longer than you think.

Well said. I don't trust it at all. And haven't tesla had trouble with their cameras regards the colour white.
