I dont see how that makes sense, I take the train every day and ive seen a bunch of station improvements on the J, track replacement at Bway junction on the L, and I think their also building an elevator at rockaway blvd? There was the G train modernization, the hurricane sandy A train repair, And you cant forget about the R211s.

I love how they talk about midtown traffic like they didn't create it...restaurant sheds, 25mi speed limit, pedestrian medians, redirected traffic and so on. They messed up the entire flow of traffic and blame drivers. May the cameras malfunctions regularly.
How do we make sure, that money will not be the pension for MTA workers, will not be a bonus for MTA exec, will not be the interests or payment for MTA bonds? We all know for sure Union for MTA workers will look at that money and ask for more money.

@@francogarcia6616A monthly train pass is a lot cheaper than driving and parking in Midtown Manhattan. Even without the congestion fee, the gas and wear on your car alone makes taking the train a no brainer for a regular commuter.

To just get to the train you have to drive to station and pay for parking if available and not all stations have parking. If you are lucky to have buses, you have to pay for a fare for bus. Then you have to pay for LIRR ticket which does not cover subway so you have to pay for subway once you are in the city. And to come home you have to do this all in reverse. Then there are the times trains are not running due to weather or times of the night which don’t have service.

You can't have a city as populous as New York and not have restrictions like this. So much of that city is wasted on car traffic. It's could be much more liveable (not to mention affordable) if more people avoided using cars
