Chaukori is a hill station in the Pithoragarh district set among the lofty peaks of the western Himalayan Range in the Kumaon Division of Uttarakhand, India. To its north is Tibet and to its south is Terai. The Mahakali River, running along its eastern boundary, forms the Indo-Nepal international border.
चौकोड़ी भारत के उत्तराखण्ड राज्य के कुमाऊँ मण्डल के पिथौरागढ़ ज़िले की बेरीनाग तहसील में स्थित एक बस्ती है। समुद्र तल से 2010 मीटर की ऊंचाई पर स्थित चौकोड़ी से नन्दा देवी, नंदा कोट, और पंचाचूली पर्वत श्रंखलाओं के सुन्दर दृश्य देखे जा सकते हैं। यह राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग 309ए पर बेरीनाग से 10 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर स्थित है
Patal Bhuvaneshwar is a limestone cave temple 14 km from Gangolihat in the Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand state in India. It is located in the village of Bhubneshwar. Legend and folklore have it that this cave enshrines Lord Shiva and thirty three koti demigods [33 types and not crore].
पाताल भुवनेश्वर चूना पत्थर की एक प्राकृतिक गुफा है, जो उत्तराखण्ड के पिथौरागढ़ जिले में गंगोलीहाट नगर से १४ किमी दूरी पर स्थित है। इस गुफा में धार्मिक तथा ऐतिहासिक दृष्टि से महत्वपूर्ण कई प्राकृतिक कलाकृतियां स्थित हैं। यह गुफा भूमि से ९० फ़ीट नीचे है, तथा लगभग १६० वर्ग मीटर क्षेत्र में विस्तृत है।

I think the building which you showed us at 12:31,I remember, that it was an old palace of the king of this place.
When we were here in December 1998 or 2000, we saw that old palace, at some distance, from KMVN Chaukodi.
My husband had met the person, whom the locals introduced as their king.
It looks like, the old structure is now covered with tiles and the complex and the complex converted into beautiful resort.
And mam as you rightly said, this building looks as if it is standing on some prak and immediately after it we see the himalayan ranges.

Patal bhubneswer mei senior citizen ja sakte hai
NeelGagan resort which you are stating hasn't got good approach road and we came in the night and were not guided properly by the reception girl as to how to reach resort as we were not able to work out right direction in dark. Resort should put up proper sign boards at various places enroute. This you should highlight when you explain the details.
