Interesting seeing your kayak impressions over time. I just picked up the 10. I was going to get the same one as yours but didn't want to wait 2 weeks. The 10 is more suited to my situation though. 👍

I’m looking into buying one of these. I’m an avid kayak angler so I’m pretty picky about my boats. How would you say the construction is on the pedal drive? Is it cheaply made?
Transducer will have to be installed inside the hull. I have installed it and it works great. I will put a video up soon. Just didn't have a chance. In hull transducer will not work with total scan ( side scan) unless you don't mind the transducer sticking out at the bottom. Also, water temperature reading wont be accurate.

Try beach launching it. Should cut through the surf just fine. I cant wait to get my hands on one soon.
I mostly do inshore fishing. I am sure it can handle the surf. Since the kayak is low to the water, you will get plenty wet.

Pedal drive is solid. No issues so far. Do you fish inshore or offshore? And did you get to see my 3 month review.
