It really sucks that they cancelled this show. It was great. They didn't need Peter for S4. His ghost appearing sometimes would have been fun. But they have such a large, brilliant cast to work with and stories to tell.
I don't think the show can go one with out Peter. After he dies, she just goes on to other men in real life anyway. The rest of the story her running the country, that will get boring.

Yep, and I think this was the best thing possibly to do. He’s learned exactly how ruthless she can be so will keep in line. Catherine knowing that Mariel would eventually get him out all plays out. Great ending
elizabeth and marial both know that she can be just as ruthless as peter so they know not to cross her. if she finds out they were in on it with archie they probably would be dead or worse.
As much as Archie went behind my back, I just could not have stopped liking him. He's funny, dramatic, and not afraid to kick someone's ass if necessary.
Oh indeed! It's a surprise attack, a bloody one and comes from behind, almost out of nowhere. I say nowhere but really it does comes from "somewhere"....alas.
@@specialandroid1603 Not at all, while Catherine the Great did a lot of important things for Russia the country, the show changed a lot of things in order to make her much, much more appealing for the modern eye, like her wanting in the show to outright free the serfs, in reality she helped them somewhat but also avoided having to deal with them, and Pugachev's rebellion made her dislike them having freedom even more. Or the killing of the Ivan kid; in real life the kid was an adult and she did give the order to kill him should there be a coup attempt. Fom what I understand, the show tried to keep things funny in black comedy, but rarely make Catherine politically incorrect to the modern sense. But that is only based on shorts I have come across, I might be wrong.
Why did they have to bring the tone down with all the F words. Not necessary. No more clean spoken movies anymore, all a token to get the common to feel at ease.
Goodness i loved this scene, I've been wanting Catherine to be ruthless since the end of season 1 and felt that this scene was immensely satisfying.
Elle fanning sure knows how to be ruthless 👍
The purest and realest definition of “gaslight gatekeep girlboss”
I like how after everything she said to do to him, he only reacted with "what" when she said to piss on his grave.
She wears Peter's clothes 🥺🤍

Can we please start a petition to bring this show back?😭😭
I will sign it for sure
Lmk when !

@@bethmoore3379 unless she gets hallucination/dream peter to interact with thats what dexter did to bring back debra
Her acting is amazing, the Fanning sisters a out of this world
Archie is still one of my favorite characters, he didn't snitch on Elizabeth and Marial for tolerating the coup

This is one of my favorite scene. I'm sad that Orlo wasn't alive to witness exactly what he wanted from Catherine
Elle fanning was amazing

i loved this show, and I think Elle Fanning is fantastic. So was Nicholas Hoult. They were so great together.
Lol I love this everyone getting too work I love a fire of cannon balls

@@kathleenvargovich9539 I put an s so gaurds
Amazing😮
The more you lie the less people trust you, even the people whose trust you need the most.
they basically turned her into a darker version of herself or made her more like peter.
I will miss Archie. 😅
oh dw he’s not gone for good lmao😭😭
@@glittercvnt I saw. Honestly, I am glad. After Peter, they can't lose any more characters.
Am i the only one who thinks Archie looks like frank galigher
I NEED TO KNOW WHAT SONG IS PLAYING AT THE END THERE
This season proved that this show couldn't survive without Peter.
Fucked up every emphasis in every russian word :')
I didn't know you could die by hemorrhoids.
Yes you can. Blood loss is blood loss, no matter from which body part. And hemorhoids are a basically a wound in a hard-to-bandage place, after all.

Rosary is Roman Catholic. Vladivostok was not in Russia during Catherine's reign. Wait another century!
Is there season 4 on this?
no they cancelled the show😔
Wait, Vladivostok? Wasn't that founded like 60 years after she died?
Well it is an *occasionally true story
Shall we really care? The scene is marvelous
What, its not historically accurate ?
@@specialandroid1603 Not by a long shot.
