See how many European musicians can make it in America? Celeste is one of the only ones who had the courage and moved over. Respect and congratulations!
Did you get that she her father is American? What makes her American too what makes the move much easier, I would say ;).
i´m really sad about "her central europe thing" maybe because i´m a part of "that thing"...
We send you a lovely greetings from our Beloved Slovakia and we love you so much, Celeste. We're so proud 'cause we considere you as our own. ❤️
Naše holka!!! To je naše Celeste!!!!! :D Cool off America!!! Now you will remember Czech and Slovakia really well!!! :D
Yeeej..Slovakia loves you Celest! :D
so amazing to see someone from our small country to make it in the US. hope she will achieve everything she ever wanted. and livin in Nashville - way too cool !!!
Celeste Rizvana Buckingham (born May 3, 1995)[1][2][3] is a Slovak singer,[3][4][5] songwriter[4][5] and polyglot of Swiss-American origins according to wiki
good interview/ celeste hodně štěstí ať prorazíš v 2016 ;)
I think the reason why she can make it in US is that her father is from US, her english is excellent and she has quite a good base in US, normal Czech singer wouldn't be able to do this..
Now it's time for Ewa Farna, Gaby Gun and Ewelina Lisowska to follow Celeste to North America!
hahaahaha not going to happen
háh tak rýchlo kecá :D :D
ked vies dobre Anglicky tak rychlo kecas
Her dad's from Chicago, that is so cool.
Shes so pretty and nice !
One question, is she Slovak or Swiss? She said in this video she was Swiss, but as she was introducing herself on the Slovak idol she said she was Slovak.
She is really Slovak!
Leu Mamk Her father is American and her mom is Swiss with Iranian roots. Celeste lived in Slovakia between age 2 and 18 when she moved back to the U.S. with her family. She just happened to grow up in Slovakia since her father had a job there.
In Slovakia she is saying she is slovak, in other countries she doesnt bother to explain it and she is introducing her as "swiss" or other nation person. Thats why there are a lot of hates on her here in Slovakia.
Leu Mamk shes not she just live in slovak and know slovak but shes SWiss american girl
Her Mum is Swiss with Iranian and Russian roots and her Dad is American of British ancestry.
Celeste♥ si naša jednička. / you are our star
Switzerland? She is from Slovakia.
I did. I wrote that before they mentioned Slovakia, obviously so. And also, DON'T YOU LOVE HER?

Probably the first time I've heard someone say that they're "half American", as if we're a race now, or something. Love it.
it's a totally normal thing to say for a person who's parents are from two different countries...i hear it all the time.
BloopyBlobBob I know about people saying they're "half Italian" or "half french or "half Indian". I'm just saying I've never heard anyone say that they were part American.
@@maybewise Well, culturally speaking, she is half American. I think most of the time when people say they are half something it really comes down to what cultural influences and traditions they've been raised with in their family. Race does not directly factor into culture.
@@voiceOfReason16 i totally forgot about this girl. She sort of looks like Marina and the Diamonds
@@maybewise Wow! You're right, she definitely does.
why czech ?....
or Slovak
