We are sinner by nature, meaning we separate from God on a regular basis, trying to handle ourself on our own.
That’s why going back to God, keeping in check with God is important. Through praise, prayer, worship. Connecting with God only happens when we recognize our own limits. Giving the wheel to God is what he ultimately wants us to do.
Hell is the most horrible place possible. It is the ultimate separation. What is impossible for us to handle can be handled by God. He is God, we are not.

I want nothing to do with hell. I always find it strange how a lot of non-believers believe in Satan and worship him with clothing, music and movies, but do not believe in God. How can that make sense!? How can there be hell without God? Just like stars, entertainers and politicians say they are Christian or that they love God, yet their music, movies or concerts show no sign of it, but it does show many signs of Satan. I started thinking, since I'm an over-thinker, maybe when they say they love God it's not the God I'm thinking of.

I literally just saw a glimpse of this place last month, i was being rushed to the hospital, i was atheist agnostic, LGBTQ and cheating on my girlfriend. I was going to die in my sins. Bro f#### this place broo its the most horrifying place you could go, its so realll, and soo dark but you can still see people, i only touched the vail, i didn't go down down. But i am so happy God let me see it because i was ... Going to live my whole life how i wanted, and i simply asked him prove himself to me. I was tired of thinking about a God that might not be real. And then 3 days later i am having a hard time breathing and feel really weak with a pain in my leg and anxious. Bro not to mention my past stuff i lost many friends because of my experience, and i will be making a RUclips video about it.

From what I just heard you understand hell and the lake of fire, but the difference is found in the scriptures if you look at the word properly. You have hell(Enoch/Revelations) which is a side of sheol(Enoch), which is different than the lake of fire, which hell and death are cast into (Revelations)
There is in fact not a great gulf fixed between New Jerusalem and hell. The Kingdom(Heaven) is not separated from hell( which is different than the lake of fire) by a great gulf fixed. In Revelations it says hell and death are sent into the lake of fire. And the lukewarm go to the ocean of sorrows.
But, you know if I claim to know anything I know not as I should.
