So just finished watching the movie, indeed it's a very sad film. The most saddest parts for me were! 1) This girl hanged herself because her cousin who she was very close to did it. The father of the girl couldn't cope and basically hanged himself too, leaving behind his wife, 15 year old son and 4 year old daughter behind. 2) This guy who lost 2 or 3 (maybe even more) of his friends due to hanging, and he basically ridicule them for doing so,and promised his mom he would never put her through that, but he hanged himself shortly after. I must say that throughout the film he did look depressed and he also tried to seek help, but the staff at the hospital dismiss him, saying there's nothing wrong with him.
My heart broke for these families. I have experienced first hand identifying a close friend's body to suicide by hanging. It was the most gut wrenching, piercing pain I have ever experienced. No family should ever have to endure that. Pray for these families, reach out to them with love not judgment of their lost loved one. People commit suicide because they don't know how to cope with the emotional turmoil they are experiencing. They want the pain to stop so the logical solution is to cease their existence. Feelings are temporary suicide is permanent. If you are having suicidal thoughts please tell someone. Don't be alone in your pain and suffering, cry out to Jesus. He gave me hope after my failed attempt at suicide over 25 years ago. I'm a walking testament to His faithfulness, His love, His mercy, and His forgiveness. He can make all things new. Dear One please know that I am praying for you and the people of Bridgend everyday and I have asked my friends to pray. Hang on through the night....His mercies are new every morning. You are not alone. You are loved by your family and friends and you are lavishing loved by God Almighty, the Prince of Peace, and He desires a relationship with you.
I really want to watch this. I live near Bridgend and remember all this happening. Where can I watch the full documentary because all the links for it say I can't view it in my country (UK) and it is not on Netflix, I searched for it and cant find it anywhere.
The sad thing is that Justin actually did kill himself in the end. When does this movie have a release?? I'll never forget when this went on. One of the girls who hung herself went to my school. So sad... RIP to all of them!
I come from Bridgend and even though this is a documentary to inform people it still seems insensitive. Red to signify blood when Bridgend pops up with ominous music? Bridgend just needs to be left alone now, we've already suffered with the loss of loved ones and the rep we now have. I cant go anywhere without someone saying 'I better not get you upset, you'll hang yourself' or 'Bet you're just hanging round'
'Bridgend just needs to be left alone now' complete nonsense. its a national tragedy. on such a large scale, so many people dying? if it were a virus the world would be watching - something would be done.
Just saw this documentary on Netflix. When I see stuff like this, being that I am a targeted individual, the red flag goes up. I wonder if these suicides are being induced ? The people that they showed who committed suicide had everything to live for so what caused so many people to off themselves in such a short period of time ? hmmmmmm.
We have no idea what caused it. They had many ideas but none were confirmed they even thought it was because of Facebook at one point. Seeing this trailer brings up so many bad memories for me and my friends. I just want it to be over and for them to finally know why it all happened
i don't know if they have i moved away from there 5 years ago and they stopped reporting about it because they thought that the media was somewhat to blame. I'm not sure of the crime rate either but i do remember that when i lived there i thought there was too much crime. i left when i was 17 but i think the towns only gotten worse since i moved
Katie Jones Glad you moved and I can't say I blame you. I would move too if I were in that area and people kept offing themselves for no apparent reason.
They were suicides, people were sad and that sadness snowballed, its not an uncommon occurence sadly but we need to be left alone to heal and even though i havnt seen the documentary i have seen the amatuer detectives commenting with theories and judging.....you should be ashamed
This trailer was insane!

Watching this gave me chills. I cant not understand what happened to these young people.
I am in shock watching this trailer.

This trailer really got to me. I cant imagine what went on and why.
nyc
I know every mother in Bridgend was scared to let their child walk out the house.
Are you going to post the movie here or somewhere else. No bio or information at all, but I want to see this movie

The Candles looks like some kind of ritual.
I heard about this a while ago, but it seems no one knew what was happening, they was just waking up finding people dead of " apparent" suicides.

Wasnt there like seventy-nine or more known deaths total?
When and where is the movie going to be made available?
Seems interesting.
This film is going to interesting. I remember the killing in South Wales, people want answers.
No parent should have to go through this. I cant understand what was going on and the trailer has my minding going. Any release date?
For that many deaths to occur in one town, there should have been a serious investigation.
That traler was down right creepy. I gotta see the movie.
The playgrounds? That is so sad.
This movie is based on facts, I did a report on Bridgend ,wow
Did Justin end up dead even though he said he would not commit suicide?

In the trailer these look like teens and pre-teens.
Bridgend looks like it is going to be like a train wreck. You cant stop watching.

From looking at the newspaper, it looks like it was all hangings? is that right? One girl was holding a little baby. Just awful!
was these all kids dying?
Suicide or murder is what I want to know. Is someone brainwashing them?
I wonder if these was cult killings?
