My First 1000 km Bike Ride on YAMAHA Ray ZR | Chennai to Kodaikanal Bike Trip | (EP -1)

When we thinking about where to spend this PONGAL Holidays...Our big decision is that we must go on a two-wheeler trip, but mess is the decision upon the destination plan accompanied with the confusion of whether it is a little far or a long distance. Then we finally came to a conclusion that we can go to KODAIKANAL. (Chennai to Kodaikanal Bike Trip)
In the midst, news flashes that it will continue to rain in Tamilnadu for Pongal four days. No matter what the weather is, we are leaving just to go patiently safe and secure somehow. There are a lot of things to think about when it comes to children as we take them with us together. Also it is essential for kids that they must have lot of patience and coping skills for a long distance bike travel. But our kids love more adventurous thrill is one most Positive.

Even if we lift a lot of luggage we cant keep the vehicles weight and balance it for a long ride. But there was just so much to pick up as we going to travel a period of cold and rain and we will have take all the necessary outfits. We went in 2 two wheelers, one is RE HIMALAYAN ( Husband + Son) and another one is YAMAHA RAY ZR ( Wife + Daughter).
Before starting we discussed the rules of the highway drive together and the safety regulations according to it. We left early in the morning at 3pm. My Husband came up behind us all the way in order to guide us. From Chennai to Trichy near Dindigul only one road , so we kept going straight. Only three place we stopped for coffee, breakfast and lunch. As we approached Trichy, it started raining well. So we put on our raincoats and still kept going. No physical exhaustion hit us and our children until we crossed Dindigul. The drive have gone pretty well.
When starting to drive our vehicles to bend the Kodaikanal Hill Road, there started our real challenge. As soon as i started to drive the curve of the mountains my husband started moving in front of me and asked me to follow him safely and patiently. When we splashed out and braked in the curves of the Kodaikanal Hills, we all of us was really overwhelmed by the Physical Pain. It was a Physical Pain for us to be told to stop, despite the occasional logs that no vehicle should be parked on the curves. So we tolerated the pain and kept going. We only stopped once for a coffee and snacks along the way.
As soon as we reached Kodaikanal check post , made us a little more relaxed. The feel of "we have achieved what we set out to do made us to forget all our physical pain. The reason we was able to accomplish this road trip was entirely because of my Husband.
We have never heard or seen anything like a family going on a two-wheeler trip with children, not only that but also the long distance.
HERE COMES A BIG QUESTION OF WHY AND WHAT FOR???
WHY THIS KIND OF AN UNNECESSARY TRAVEL WITH KIDS???
Although we have the potential to pick up any mode of transportation, the fact is why we chose this two-wheeler road trip is
to improve our Mental Well- being.
improves Confidence that comes from achieving new things.
riding combines being Outdoor and Explore new views.
gives us Time to process worries or concerns.
ride can reduce the time of your commute or free us from the confines of germ infused especially due to this pandemic causatives.
Improves Navigational Skills.
We wish to be a Pioneer so that everyone can win on a two-wheeler trips as a family more safely .
