I didn't graduate from Queen's but took a few post-grad courses by distance. They were demanding, but with plenty of critical tutorial help. The Queen's grads I know -- most now holding down challenging jobs and raising great kids -- remember having the time of their lives there.
Will, thank you for your service, it means a lot to me and many others. Keep up the great work on youtube too, your videos are better than stuff I've seen full time youtubers make.
screw that you guys are the worst a bunch of rude arrogant spoiled Queens students whom wreck havok with our police and are disruptive to the City go on if you wanna have fun thats fine but stop fin around with kingstonions we are sick of you slobs!!!! Grow the F up!! Watching reminds me how spoiled and rotten you students are a bunch of dirty drunks..but that blonsd wow what a skank looool!!!
I am applying today itself!!!!! And also looks that there are many hot chicks!! After watching this I am in love with the university and majorly social life!!
wtf i want be student of exchange and when to i see the cover page i thought that was to a presentation of how was the university for inside or something jajajajaja
That is just my point, Richard Wilson. Students are representatives of their university and it reflects badly on Queen's University's reputation. At other universities, you just don't see the out-of-control street parties that you see at Queen's. The City or town police would shut them down quickly as public disturbances. I attended a Dean's breakfast a couple of years ago and some of the students chatted about how they became alcoholics at Queen's. If students at other universities party like this, it is behind closed doors. For one thing, it is illegal in many cities to walk around with open beer cans/alcohol in public places. It is dangerous behaviour for many reasons (alcohol poisoning, drunk driving, date rape, "doctored" - i.e., "tampered" drinks -a friend of mine almost died at Queen's because her drink had been spiked with a drug).
licuado: see my reply to Richard White below. These students won't be acting this way for long. Kingston is passing a new by-law that will put an end to such behaviour. Landlords and tenants become legally responsible for such behaviour as do party-goers themselves. It is about time Kingston enacted such a by-law. Too bad, so sad but street party days are over. You are wrong to think that all Canadian students act like this nor is it Canadian culture. It seems to be an Ontario phenomenon as other municipalities have by-laws against such behaviour and out of control street parties. it is just not tolerated.
