Umbreon's is actually genius because not only does it look good, but switching the rings, or moons, to blue is a fun reference to the adage "once in a blue moon". Encountering a "blue moon" Umbreon is a once in a blue moon event.

I agree so much with Glaceon. It’s a really subtle change, but it looks so good! You could argue it’s not a good shiny, if you compare it to how much it changes from the original. But just the shiny by itself? It looks great.
I like the flareon because the autumnal tones are more pleasing to me than the contrast of the red. But even if it was worse (which I don't agree), that's still better than Leafeon. I'll take a color scheme that just doesn't click over "We upped the saturation by 1%" shiny pokemon.
The 3 original Eeveelutions have a great color scheme: the standards are the 3 primary colors (red, yellow, & blue), and the shinies are the 3 secondary colors (orange, green, & purple, respectively). Good idea, far as I'm concerned.
fr, i love a lot of green shinies like beedrill, dragonite, (which honestly isn't that bad, though i will say 2D shiny dragonite was better,) azurill, the whole hydreigon line, and mewtwo, of course.

I once knew a little kid who thought there was a normal-type eeveelution because he “saw it.” Years later, I’m just now realizing that it was probably a shiny flareon, lmao. (I assumed it was a regular flareon.)
1. Umbreon - Who else was it going to be? 2. Sylveon - Simple palette swap works wonders. 3. Eevee - Ultra Instinct Eevee goes kinda hard ngl. 4. Vaporeon - it's a neat shiny but nothing crazy. 5. Glaceon - It honestly depends on the game, sometimes Glaceon can come off with a sleek snow white design, truly fitting of an ice type as cool as itself, but sometimes it looks like you've just turned the saturation down and called it a day. On a good day shiny Glaceon is top 3 but on a bad day and it's at the other end with the other indistinguishable shinies. Middle placement seems right because of this. 6. Jolteon - Although I do like the mint green design I think it's a huge missed opportunity not going for a blue lightning kinda look. 7. Espeon - I think it's kinda mid but at least it's a genuine shiny y'know. Think it would've been way cooler making it either gold or sky blue to fit that day time aesthetic though. 8. Flareon - I can see what they were trying to go for. "I know, let's give it Eevee's colours! That'll be great!" But Flareon is basically just an orange Eevee anyway so it just comes across as lame... 9. Leafeon - Disappointing honestly. The autumnal color design was literally right there! Or maybe even a nice sakura colour scheme. But instead all we got was a shiny that barely looks any different from the original.
