I uploaded it again, the old cloud service is down. Here's the new link: www.filedropper.com/introadlibrenoise & s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?file_id=03161616154172740624
Hopefully you're still getting emails from comments, the link in the description and all the links in the comments are now dead, any chance of reuploading the Renoise file somewhere again, please?
@@andlinux No-freakin'-way... I didn't really expect to get a reply at all, I mean, the video is 8 years old now, I most certainly never imagined I would get a reply within 30 minutes of my comment. You, sir, are a legend. If you could find the file for me I'd be really appreciative. Its a lovely little tune and I'd like to try turning it into a melodic 90's style rave track... and I don't fancy copying it by hand from this video 🤣🤣👍
Pity. The tracker used to make the original version doesn't seem to have the level of crispness that Reality brought to the table. Oh, well, AdLib is always awesome! :D
There's nothing wrong with the tracker, Renoise is more advanced than any other tracker, it's just because of the default samples. If you use other samples and/or a good VST then you would get something that is a lot better. The notes are there it's up to you.
***** I was referring to the tracker used to make the original, "Easy AdLib" or whatever it was, not Renoise. The sounds in the original version of the module come out very muffled compared to what you would expect from a song done in Reality AdLib Tracker.
nice job !! you were sooo lucky that you heard this again after years! what a happy story :D
You know it's about to set the club on fire when it was made in what looks like my old laptop's BIOS
This one is amazing. Keep coming back. Wish I had my Amiga Protracker dude. Then it would get sweaty in a kinky way.
Sounds like something I'd hear in the intro of a DOS game.
wonderful design
gorgeous...
Nice vibe
Nice
Cool!
cool
super song!!!!!
Thanks but I bet if other samples were used it would be much better.
i like the first version better, very good
sounds like Muse - Butterflies and Hurricanes
this song got to be so old wow did you make this in windows 3.0
No, I made it in Windows 7 and on a Linux machine.
Renoise can be used on different platforms.
The first version you see is in good old MS DOS.
Where'd you get the terminal program with the real time pattern representations?
If you mean the first program you see in the video, I can't remember. I guess on archive.org
Where on youtube did you find the original? Nice conversion you did. :-)
Martin Okholm Pedersen Can't remember anymore :(
would you re-upload the file? I wcould make something good out of it.
+Nick Cent Well, I it's back online, make something great with it ;)
you have the midi of this by chance?

Indeed, that service has been suspended, if I find it on my computer I will upload it to something else.

That frustrates me a bit about Renoise, it keeps enabling cubic sample interpolation, but that removes all the crispness of old-school tunes like this
but it's good
Damn, links has expired. Can you do a refresh?I want my dirty hands on it! :)
Fixed :)
Thanks! I'm gonna blow your damn mind! :D
