I can't help but be excited about LEGO. I am constantly amazed at the designs and part usage. It's clever, surprising, and rewarding to see the builds come together. Good for you getting the GWP - did you order something from LEGO or get it on the secondary market? If you got a set - what did you get?! This is a lovely build. The fireworks reminds of the Catherine Wheel which we would nail to a post and it would spin around once lit. I originally thought the display bit at the front was supposed to represent buildings like in the Peter Pan and Wendy's Flight over London, but now I'm not so sure. You could be right; they could be 'smoke' from the firework 😊
A Catherine Wheel! That's exactly what it is!! If those are buildings then that is a mighty big firework. 🤔 Wouldn't surprise me though. Love LEGO for its openness to interpretation. 😂
I haven’t built it yet, but I agree about the side pieces. I was going to give this GWP to my daughter, but I really want the mini figs for my winter display. Not sure what to do…I think she would like the display, though, but not sure about the mini figs or side piece. Love the look, though! ❤
I think the minifig and side build were all in bag one, so you could take that out and give her the rest to build? Or let her build the whole thing and give her the honour of placing the side build and minifigures in the winter display?

That set is an excellent choice! I watched a review of it and if I collected cars I would def be picking it up too.
