I was at the Collingwood Adelaide game on Saturday!! Four rows back behind the right goal post, but on the aldehyde side 😒 great game, my first ever winning Collingwood game I’ve been too!! Coxy you were my favourite player out there 🤍🖤
Coxie/Braydon: the Aussies don't like Yanks questioning their strange footy rules. My mates down under remind me constantly that its the rules that make the game unique. My pet peeve is the "touched" rule when a goal is kicked. I maintain that if it comes off the boot and goes through the big sticks its a goal. If it shaves the wood....it should be a goal. Aussie Rules footy is the only sport in the world that employs earthquake seismic equipment to determine a goal. Don't get me started. The NFL had a "touched" rule years ago where if a pass was touched before the receiver caught the ball it was ruled incomplete. Thankfully, the rule was abandoned.

After some thought, this is my conclusion.
You can not tuck and run.
Having to concentrate on bouncing a ball at full tilt and catching it again, slows the player down and allows them to be tackled.
Otherwise we might as well play rugby! 🤣
