Fleet Foxes - Wading in Waist High Water ft. Uwade (Forest Hills Stadium, Queens, NYC 8/13/22)

It was a perfect day for listening to beautiful folk songs from Fleet Foxes and Uwade in the open air. Forest Hills Stadium by far my favorite venue for enjoying the fair summer weather and live music, and it's close to home. I've seen Fleet Foxes before but this was the definitive FF show with just perfect harmonies and the perfect blend of songs from each album and covers. Robin was very generous with his time, actually coming out on stage first thing and introducing Uwade to stage and saying how they wanted to start early so they could play as much music as possible for us. What an absolute star! We even got some great versions of songs with Uwade being invited back on stage after her own act and we got one of the best Strokes covers I've ever heard.
So awesome that the band got matching white tennis outfits with their names embroidered on each outfit. Even their photographer in the pit got a set. Now that is something for them to remember the tour by. This is PEAK Fleet Foxes and I don't think it'll ever be beaten in my book.
