Russian competition? I wouldn't say that the US is actually in decay, that's sooo 2006 attitude. China was supposed to take over the US as the world's biggest economy like at least five time by now but it's actually the US gaining more lead over China. Of course the problem with authoritarian states is that when their economy peaks and start sliding, the more they start seeing "foreign enemies". Russia is the prime example. Putin had to go to war for what? For maintaining his power, but surprisingly, it turned out to be "a bit" stretched special limited three day military operation.
You hear yourself? Europe is a rising power and we do not benefit from Chinese dictatorship and Russian imperial expansionism. Your conspiracy is based on nothing.
