I've ridden this line many times. Even commuted to/from Eddington (office park adjacent). Trenton makes, the world takes sign is a landmark. Thanks Tim💚👌
I rode SEPTA from Trenton to Philadelphia back in May 2023. Enjoyed it as well as enjoyed my time in Philadelphia. Nice place and I wish to go back there in the near future.
That was a very nice ride. I hope to go back to Philly sometime soon, and I plan on riding NJ Transit and SEPTA from NYP to PHL if I do. The Silverliner IV's are okay in my opinion, but personally, I like the Silverliner V's better, especially because of the front window seat. I hope I get one when I make the transfer at Trenton.
I always found it amazing how Zoo interlocking was automated. I remember when manned those talented individuals were called "The Zookeepers." As technology further advances functionality, hopefully it will not totally replace the human side of the operations lest the railroad looses its soul.
Hello from the UK I last travelled along this Route non stop DC to Newark train journey started from Greensboro after travelling on steam loco 611. Is that an Electric scooter I see at Bristol station? (In the UK they are banned on all trains as there considered dangerous due to a few having self ignited). Excellent clip I’ll be back in USA in May travelling on Empire Builder Seattle to Chicago then hopefully a Metra SD70
As a mech for 35 years I reg in 08 just before those 5 really took over and the guys said they are terrible but my fav is the GE as railroaders called them not 4s
iPhone 12 Pro. It has a great stabilizer. I just wedged between the headrest on the forward seat. Sometimes I use a selfie stick but it would have been difficult sitting where I was

[23:35] The Silverliner IV's were made tough...Built to last!
I must admit with great pain in every fiber of my body that they do 😢😢😢😢
Trenton makes, the world takes. One of those unforgettable landmarks when crossing the Delaware out of Trenton.
Beacon of light, beacon of hope.
Very enjoyable, it's the next best thing to riding the train personally. Thanks.
A new RRFHG video what a treat! Sort of a companion piece to the Doylestown line snow ride.
Working on that now
As per usual, very excellent video, keep up the good work and greeting from a very warm/Hot Australia
🎉Great Train Video In The Snow!!!

They run those fives on the Trenton trains quite a bit
thanks RRHG for braving the weather, always a delight to watch your stuff👍
When you have the drive, nothing stops you
@@3985uprrThat was one good local trip, even though the tracks were slippery.

I believe it is still a man interlocking
That's good. It keep people on the job and food on their table. Some things are just best left to the personal touch.
Please ride the River Line soon. Thank you.

Mechanically, they admittedly are not as durable as the GE’s but I’ll give them TLC as long as they are around.
When are you coming up the the NS Reading/Harrisburg line?
Not sure
I didn't think Septa stopped at Eddington anymore 🤔
A few still do
Tim, to give you an idea of how fast you were doing between Bristol and Croydon, the speed limit on US 13 is 40 mph.
That’s a very fast section of track. We blew past Bristol Pike Lanes in a cloud of dust.
At 0:50, MCMM Transit Productions will hate the 839!

Silver liner 5 accelerate fast
That’s just one of several things that impress me about that equipment
@@3985uprrThe tracks were very slippery, weren't they?
Did u do this video before
Not with snow. I’ve done several of this run, but I think this is the best of all of them.
Retired Railfan Horn Guy, do you like the Septa push pull trains?
Oh yes I do.
They are cool. Love the horns on them
Just found your channel. Are you in the cab? What camera or phone did you use, and did you hand hold it. Thank you.

@@3985uprr Thank you sir.
Flat spots on that lead truck!
Most Silverliner V cars have flat spots.
Where can I get the best pizza in Philly?
