    Very clever to use a single blade prop, and to streamline the supporting strut. Love the air conditioning intakes. Beautiful take off. A tiny aileron trim tab on one wing might be of use? I think all of these powered distance airframes should be equipped with a tow hook. If the aircraft gets into trouble, have it descend such that a towing bungee can be attached, allowing the aircraft to be towed back to start point. Real time translation would be a very big help.

    Hermoso vuelo!!! Ya había visto hélices de una sola pala, pero para aviones RC. Nunca imaginé que se usarían para propulsar un avión con tripulante!!! 😃 ✌ Muchas felicidades al equipo!!!

    Surprised you guys are still wearing masks. Other than that, Awesome ! Luv the Engineering Skillset these students show and the video coverage is Excellent.
    In Radio Controlled Aircraft Racing, there is a class of Pylon Racing that approaches speeds near 300Mph (483Kph). They use single bladed propellers because the 2 Stroke engines turn so fast (35-50 thousand rpm) that two blades cause air turbulence for the opposite prop blade, so using a single blade is more efficient. The counterweight is located on the hub rather than extended out so far as with this Human Powered A/C (obviously extended to save weight). Very Kewl and Smart !
