this horse was a magnificent one, twice he kneeled but the determinations keep him going and like human being he knows the importance of the event and beside his rider is his best friend and hand in hand they made it ... the priceless moments that will be left behind to the next generations to come a treasure that will treasured beyond the limits of time, for this spectacular events was not only recorded in the finest modern technology of time, but to the hearts and minds who watched it on real time ... just like the dawning of man past events were not recorded but it handed tongue to tongue ... wonderfull, spectacular, amazing thank you Sir/Mam highness good morning too

The unforgettable moment of my life. I was part of the DAGOC - TR Team dealt with different TB’s from crew to volunteers. Had the chance to run as TB as well.... The breathtaking part when H H Sheikh Nasser Bin Khalifa on a horse. Phew! I love everything about 15th Doha Asian Games including the best gift received from the Sheikh...Memories to remember and proud to be part of it.

The opening ceremonies during that decade especially on lighting the cauldron are remarkable like in Sydney (Olympics 2000), Salt Lake (2002), Athens (2004), Beijing (2008), and in Doha Asian games like this one. I don't know what happened after 2010.
They can easily erase all the opening ceremony of the past game there is only few opening of the games that we remember including the barcelona Olympic but this is definitely wow the power of the horse risk and determination of the man combined it is history of any opening of the games proud of this nation qatar will always be remember of those game enthusiasm

I was one of the torch bearers. I still remember that it rained cats and dogs all day, until right before the ceremony. The ramp was still wet and super risky. Moreover, Sheikh Hamad had no idea that his son was going up that ramp. It was a planned surprise for him. Everyone warned Sheikh Mohammed but he was willing to do it anyway. Even after his elder brother had had a horse riding accident in which he broke his leg and eventually, probably, the reason he resigned from being the next Emir.
Unforgettable and a beautiful movement of Qatar prince. So brilliant job he did on that day. I went two times to watch events. One day without telling my boss and quickly returned back to the office after Susanthikas 200m event.
Doha had everything in terms of budgeting,dude. They could bring the latest technology with their "limitless" money. It's not fair to compare between those two AG(doha and jakarta)
Lol it's worth more than 50 M at sa ganda ng cauldron nila wala talagang reklamo. E yung satin? Basic design unrealistic pa yung pag sindi. Tinapat lang yung torch nag liyab agad yung cauldron hahaha di mablang tumakbo si manny ng matagal pangit ng torch relay buti nalang maganda yung fireworks display. Cayetano should have watched this before planning the over priced cauldron.
